Pet care experience
I teach dog training classes at a training club and have been a positive instructor there for 16 years. I compete with my own dogs in obedience and trick dog. I am a AKC CGC evaluator and DMWYD trick instructor. I am a training mentor for service dog teams. I work part time so I can spend plenty of time treating your baby like you would at your home. The daily schedule includes play time, couch time and enrichment activities. There are also plenty of treats. The schedule can also include some training time with positive methods. I have a small fenced in area for potty breaks. Dogs are crated for no more than 5 hours at a time and most of the day is spent loose in my quiet home with plenty of toys, couch space and opportunities for play and snuggling. I have a Boston Terrier that usually ignores other dogs.

My yorkie (Zoey) just had her first stay with Tracey. She was nervous and a little stressed about being in a new environment but Tracey was so good with her! She was patient and understanding and that helped Zoey adjust and feel comfortable..I really appreciate how Tracey worked with Zoey and kept me informed. Highly recommend Tracey!
Tracey cared for our 4 month old puppy while we went on vacation. A puppy is tough, but Tracey handled her like a pro! She even taught her new commands which she showed me upon return: reinforced sit, down, waiting for her food bowl and button pushing to signal “outside”. I would definitely recommend Tracey to anyone looking for care.
Tracey takes great care of Tudo like she’s her own. Our pup is always super excited to visit Tracey.
Tracey took amazing care of our Chewie while we were away. Her knowledge on canine training and patience with him in a new environment was exceptional. He came back healthy, happy, and tired! I had no doubts that he was in good hands with Tracey for the week. Being a smaller dog, he was a good fit with her pup and they got along very well! Highly recommend!

My preference is for dogs 30 lbs or under that like an air conditioned or heated indoor environment. Let me know if there are any dietary restrictions. Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations. Prices may be higher for dogs that are not reliably house trained.
A typical day
I have lots of dog toys and dog puzzles. Treats are given throughout the day depending on your dog. There are opportunities for short walks or bike rides, weather permitting. We can work on training with fun games!
