I have always had cats or dogs. I have had special need pets and loved them just the same. My cat, MonChi needed two shots of insulin twice a day for seven years. I never missed one. My dog, Madi was missing her left front leg and requires special help on multiple occasions. I say that Handy Capable Pets are the strongest pets. They don't know they have a disability unless we treat them like they have disabilities. We have a set of wheels special made from Eddie's Wheels, for Madi. These take a lot of patience when working with with her on these. They are awkward at first and it takes love and reassuring motivation to get her to walk with them. She was my life! I lost Madi in April 2021, which was devastating. She was 11 years old. I wanted my next pup to have four legs and not shed. Well I rescued a Chihuahua Pug mix that had all her legs but she’d like crazy. I love her all the same. I can’t imagine my life without a fur baby.
