We are excited to welcome your fur-baby to our home! For the dog guests: It’s easy to get around the house with no stairs, hardwood floors, and sleep areas around the house. We have multiple dog beds but if human beds are more your dog’s speed, they are welcome on the furniture. The outdoor space is made for dogs, meaning, there are plenty of trees with squirrels to chase. We have toys to play with and a resident pup to show you the ropes. Given this weird time to be alive, if you would like your pup(s) to get a bath before you pick them up, please let us know! The cat guests: We have the cat wing which is a dog-proof space with fresh water, a comfy bed for midday naps, and private clean bathrooms. The rest of the house is open for your exploration including a scratcher with plenty of bird watching. Two cat guides are here - they are happy to hang out or leave you alone. You pick. We enjoy being around animals and the more the merrier! While we do work during the day, we often have one person working from the home office. If not, we both work close and come home at lunch to play with the dogs. We also have a trail by us that we will take the pups for an adventure, weather pending. Senior animals is our specialty - so any special needs, we can tend to. If your dog doesn’t do well with cats, let us know. They have their own space we can keep them in. They do really like dogs and are typically really friendly towards them. We foster dogs as well so may have an extra dog here.
