Offering boutique, premier care for your Silicon Valley Dog! I was the Director of Operations for over nine years at one of the most respected dog daycares in the South Bay. I was a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). I am a Certified Trainer and Counselor through the Academy for Dog Trainers, a Certified Kennel Operator, and a member of the Pet Professional Guild, and I have completed a course in pet first aid and CPR. I can guarantee you that your dog will be in the best hands possible while you are away! I got my first cat when I was six and my first dog (a Great Dane) when I was 12. I started working for a pet shop when I was 12 and then worked at two different shelters (in CO and CA) after college (I have a degree in Wildlife Biology and a minor in Zoology). I then worked at two dog daycares and got my various certifications along the way. To say I love dogs is an understatement. :) I am very comfortable with senior pets who need a bit of extra TLC and care. I am very comfortable giving pets medications (Oral and sub-q meds are no problem. Could do IV in an emergency), and if your pet needs help with mobility aids or has incontinence issues, I have dealt with it all.

Our 2nd booking with Tracey and just as perfect as our first. She is wonderful with our dogs and a great communicator. Additionally she cares for not only our dogs as if they are her own, but also our home. We are so thankful for her!
Tracey watched our two nervous/sensitive Shepherd mixes in our home for two nights and they did so well with her. She followed our existing routines and made the dogs feel comfortable and us feel confident that they were in good hands. We received daily updates and she truly made the process so easy. Tracey is kind, caring, and professional and I would highly recommend her!
It was our first time using Rover for the daycare service. Tracey was communicative and provided updates throughout the day- which was greatly appreciated! Our dog has some separation anxiety and it seems like he did well during his stay. :)
We usually leave our dog and cat with friends or family but having just moved to the area we needed to find an alternative arrangement. We were a little apprehensive about using Rover for the first time but after meeting Tracey, her warm demeanor instantly put us (and the pets) at ease. During the stay, Tracey maintained consistent communication, providing regular updates and even sending cute pics and videos of the pets enjoying their time. It was so reassuring to know they were in such capable hands and it really helped us to relax and enjoy our time away not worrying about the fur kids! In addition to her exceptional care for the pets, Tracey also took great care of our home and left everything neat and tidy. Overall, we cannot recommend her highly enough and we are so lucky to have found such a reliable and qualified carer on Rover. We will definitely be reaching out to her again to look after our pets.

I live in a condo in a quiet, clean complex. It's very green and dog-friendly. Your dog would be the only animal in my home (unless you have more than one dog or there is a pre-arranged agreement). If it is your dog's first stay with me, I will be home the vast majority of the time. As they get more comfortable, I may leave for up to several hours to run errands. However, if I am watching your dog, I am making a commitment to you both, so taking care of your pet is my #1 priority.

A typical day
I have a lovely complex for mini-walks and live in a quiet neighborhood near the Los Gatos Creek Trail. I enjoy going for daily walks, and having a companion with me is always nice! Your dog's sleeping arrangement I allow dogs on my bed, but I will adhere to any rules you have for your dog. If he sleeps in a crate at home, he will sleep in a crate here. If he sleeps on your bed, he will sleep on mine. :) Small dogs are easiest in my condo, but I always will have a soft spot for the giant breeds. If your dog doesn't fit my stated requirements but you think would fit in well, please just reach out, and we will see what we can work out. I am happy to take two dogs from the same household.
