Offering boutique, premier care for your Silicon Valley Dog! I was the Director of Operations for over nine years at one of the most respected dog daycares in the South Bay. I was a Certified Professional Dog Trainer—Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). I am a Certified Trainer and Counselor through the Academy for Dog Trainers, a Certified Kennel Operator, and a member of the Pet Professional Guild. I have also completed a course in pet first aid and CPR. I can guarantee you that your dog will be in the best hands possible while you are away! I got my first cat when I was six and my first dog (a Great Dane) when I was 12. I started working for a pet shop when I was 12 and then worked at two different shelters (in CO and CA) after college (I have a degree in Wildlife Biology and a minor in Zoology). I then worked at two dog daycares and got my various certifications along the way. I am very comfortable with senior pets who need a bit of extra TLC and care. I am very comfortable giving pets medications (Oral and sub-q meds are no problem; I could do IV in an emergency), and if your pet needs help with mobility aids or has incontinence issues, I have dealt with it all.

I live in a condo in a quiet, clean complex. It's very green and dog-friendly. Your dog would be the only animal in my home (unless you have more than one dog or there is a pre-arranged agreement). If it is your dog's first stay with me, I will be home the vast majority of the time. As they get more comfortable, I may leave for up to several hours to run errands. However, if I am watching your dog, I am making a commitment to you both, so taking care of your pet is my #1 priority.

A typical day
I have a lovely complex for mini-walks and live in a quiet neighborhood near the Los Gatos Creek Trail. I enjoy going for daily walks, and having a companion with me is always nice! Your dog's sleeping arrangement I allow dogs on my bed, but I will adhere to any rules you have for your dog. If he sleeps in a crate at home, he will sleep in a crate here. If he sleeps on your bed, he will sleep on mine. :) Small dogs are easiest in my condo, but I always will have a soft spot for the giant breeds. If your dog doesn't fit my stated requirements but you think would fit in well, please just reach out, and we will see what we can work out. I am happy to take two dogs from the same household.

I own my businesses and work from home, so while I have regular online client meetings, my days are fairly flexible. I am home most of the time.
