Pet care experience
I've been using Rover for a while now so thought I should update this (It's 28th June 2023 today). I started off in 2022 doing a bit of dog sitting through Borrow my Doggy which was great to see if this suited me. I had a dog when I was young and now appreciate how much is entailed as an an adult pet owner / carer! Regardless, I can confirm that I still find it an absolute joy and privilege to look after a dog or cat :-) My house has an enclosed, good sized garden and there are plenty of nice dog-walking routes nearby. I regularly work at home and although I do have calls throughout the work day, my schedule tends to be flexible so I can pop out for walks / playtime in the garden. As long as your dog / cat is not overly clingy / barky and reasonably well trained, I could be a good fit to look after them. I like having a bit of company, a happy wee face to look at when I'm up to my eyes in spreadsheets and I reason to get out in the fresh air. I'm very patient and happy to help with your training programme / fit in with your dog's schedule as long as you brief me in advance. Look forward to hearing from you! Any questions just drop me an email, thanks.

Tracey, responded quickly to our request as it was very short notice and suggest that we all meet before the the sleep over which was a good idea, Tracey kept us updated with Ozzy's stay and sent pictures which put our mind at rest, I think Ozzy enjoyed his stay.
Bella had a great time staying with Tracey & I was very much at ease knowing Bella was staying in a home from home environment & being well looked after. Tracey kept me up to date daily with how Bella was settling and pictures too. She is a very kind and gentle person, perfect for my Bella and I’m sure Bella be looking forward to her next sleepover ❤️ thanks Tracey xx
Angus had a very happy overnight stay with Tracey and we have already booked another stay.
Tracey looked after Duke for a few days while we were on holiday and he settled in right away. Tracey sent us pictures of Duke and he looked happy and content. I feel so lucky to have found Tracey and would certainly recommend her and hopefully she will look after Duke for us in the future. It's so nice to know that your dog if being looked after so well it's like a home from home. Thank you

My back garden is fairly big and fenced-in / secure. There are french doors directly out to the garden so a dog could wander in and out (in the good weather at least!). Your dog would pretty much have free run around most of the house. I'm ok with them being on the sofa in the kitchen / diner but not allowed in bedrooms or on the beds. I'd prefer if they slept downstairs in the kitchen / diner (which is spacious) and can easily accommodate a crate if required.

What is your dog's recall like - are they allowed off the lead? Are there any foods they can't eat or special dietary requirements. Do they have any quirks / things they don't like, e.g, having their paws / ears touched?
A typical day
I like getting out on long walks and letting a dog run about and play. I'm wary about letting a dog off the lead unless I know their recall is good but we do also have a secure garden where they play. The woods beside my house are great to explore and lots of other dogs in the neighbourhood to make friends with. I also like having a snuggle on the sofa.
