The dog must be house trained. It must be well-behaved; we love dogs but we don't have dog training skills. It must be good with kids. We have an old fat cat, your dog must not be a harm to her. Our guests must be leash trained and non-violent toward other dogs and people if we take it on walks. It can't be a barker. It can't be a runner (escaping out the door). It must not have fleas or any communicable disease that could endanger other animals or humans. We can provide a good amount of exercise, unless the weather is harsh. If the weather is harsh the backyard and use of a laser pointer is the best we can do.

Our neighborhood has a giant field with a huge dirt hill where your dog will LOVE to walk and play. We also have paths and open green spaces that will thrill your little love. I've been walking to a local river and one of our latest canine guests enjoyed jumping in (still on the leash) and getting out and then jumping right back in. To cool off and also just for the thrill of it, I guess.
