Pet care experience
Hello, I am a senior at the University of Arizona and have been a lover of all animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up I have had pets of all shapes and sizes including cows, chickens, horses, birds, fish, reptiles, and of course, dogs. Having exposure to so many animals has given me the experience and knowledge that is required to be an exemplary pet caretaker. Throughout high school and during summers in college, I ran a house sitting and pet boarding business in Phoenix. I also have experience with senior dogs requiring specific medication administration and I am educated in dog CPR. My family has know Torri several years through her involvement showing animals in FFA and 4H. She has cared for our horses, cattle, goats, chickens, turtle, lizard and most important to this site, our dogs. Torri would follow the directions we left for her perfectly regarding our Australian shepard's and mini schnauzer's feeding schedule, potty times, play time and walks. Our dogs usually become skittish around new people but they quickly loved Torri. We only use her now to watch our dogs (yes, she's so dedicated she will commute 2 hours to Phoenix to help!) I could not reccomend her more as a dog caregiver. Her love for all dogs is unmatched.
Torri was our petsitter for two years and then she left to go to college. She was not easy to replace. She did a fantastic job. We have a lot of special requests since we had 2 dogs, 3 indoor cats, ferals outside and 2 desert tortoises. She handled all their needs with no problems. Everything was well cared for and the house was always clean when we got home,. You couldn't ask for a more responsible and kind petsitter than Torri.
Torri is a very responsible dog owner! She is active and takes her dog on many hikes and walks. Her pup is the cutest and most dog-friendly dog I have met! I am picky with who I would trust to watch my dog, and I know anytime I head out for vacation Torri would be great sitter!
