Hello there, my name is Torie. I have always had a special place in my heart and wallet for puppers. I donate what I can, when I can to shelters and rescues. Growing up we always had a dog or 2 around. A home just isn't a home without nose art on all of the windows, puddles of drool in the kitchen while I'm cooking and constant vacuuming of all their floof! I currently have 2 pups of my own, Cusco and Tein, both are rescues. Cusco enjoys running with mum and shadow hunting in his free time, or just when anything shiny pops up. Tein enjoys TV time with mum and swimming whenever we are by a pool or lake, he even ventured into the ocean on our last vacation. We all love hiking and playing fetch! Especially with dad, because lets face it, he has a better arm than myself. Most of all, we all love snuggling up when it is time for bed. Cusco must be under the covers and Tein must be touching mum. It's a routine. I have experience administering medication to animals. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to a sensitive diet. Cusco has a sensitive little belly that tends to get upset every now and again, mostly due to counter surfing, which he has gotten much better at. Thankfully! I am very familiar with senior dogs, as I mentioned before, I always had at least one dog growing up. I watched my best gal age, it was tough. She became incontinent, which to be more clear is having no control over urination or defecation. She became blind and sore from hip dysplasia. To make a long sad story semi short, it required lots of medication, multiple times a day and patience with love. She was worth it. Just as I cared for her and my current boys, I would love the privilege to care for yours and see the excitement from a walk, run, hike, fetch or even just some TV time with cuddles. After all, doggie play dates are a wonderful thing for all involved. For an extended doggie play date, I only ask 5 things. 1. Please do not hesitate to ask me questions. 2. Instructions, I will follow them to the T. Instructions help me provide familiarity, as if there were no significant disruption from their day to day home routines. 3. Please supply enough food to meet their dietary need. 4. A kennel, in the event that it is needed. I like to be prepared. 5. Notify your vet of your absence. This helps keep everyone in the loop.
