Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs and cats in my home since I was a small child. I can not remember a time in my life when we did not have animals at home. While sadly, I currently cannot have animals at my home, I fill the cuddly furriness void by volunteering at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region as a dog walker and a cat colony volunteer. Having had many different kinds of dogs and cats at my home growing up, I am comfortable with small and large breeds alike in both dogs and cats and am ready to treat your furry family members as my family members!

Tori was a wonderful sitter! Our three pups and old kitty seemed very happy! Tori was even gracious enough to stay a bit longer than planned when one of the dogs was being stubborn and wouldn't get in the crate! Great job!
I just moved to Colorado Springs and didn't know anyone who could watch our "furbabies" while I went out of town. I met with Tori and we immediately hit it off. She stayed with our "babies" and I was able to travel without any worries, she even sent me pictures. I am so happy to have found Tori and Rover!
After a disastrous pet-sitting experience (not through rover.com), we found Tori and she was able to work us in on short notice. As far as we're concerned, she was perfect. She made sure we were on the same page as far as expectations. She spent full nights and most of the days in our home which we really appreciated. She kept in regular touch with us and sent some great photos of our two dogs and two cats. It was obvious that all our pets loved her and were completely comfortable at home. We are so grateful for not having to worry about our animals while we were gone, allowing us to enjoy our trip. We will definitely contact her for our next trip.
Tori was easy to communicate with and kept us posted on how our animals were doing every day. The house was neat and clean when we got home. Her being here helped us to enjoy our vacation to the fullest!

Its always good to know what makes your pup excited and happy if I'm coming to stay! That always helps me make a good impression! But equally important, anything that makes them scared and nervous so I can keep them safe, calm and comfortable while you are gone, which is the always the hardest time for your little ones! Also, knowing any 'inappropriate' items which they may be inclined to get into is also helpful.
A typical day
I love to go to dog parks with my charges, particularly beaver creek dog park if both owner and pet are up for it. But I am also always up for a nice walk around a familiar neighborhood or a good game of fetch in the backyard depending on the circumstances. For my indoor feline friends I enjoy a fantastic lazer pointer fetch or a mousecateer search before a purriffic nap.
