***I've taken a huge step back due to lots of reasons, can be contacted as a last resort if you need but I won't be opening my calendar for awhile, if I get reliable transportation again this may change.*** I have always loved being around dogs, all pets honestly, when my almost 10-year-old girl Daffney lost her fight to cancer in March it made me realize how much I wanted to work with animals and make them happy. I raised Daffney from 3 months of age and my and my husband's new dog Marley is under a year and a half, so any age is good with me. I watch my parents dog Smokey often and I also have 2 kitties, Panda and Ghost (so if you have cats that's even more awesome). I love all dog breeds and sizes; I will be adding extra-large breeds within a few months. I am very willing to provide a variety of care including baths, brushing, giving any medications your doggy may need, walking, lots of playing, feeding any type of diet, picking up after them, pretty much whatever your baby needs I'm your girl. This is currently my main job and I don't start school back up until March, so my availability is very open. Why do I want to do this? Losing my best friend Daffney was the hardest thing I've ever been through and it opened my eyes to realizing that I needed to spend time with more animals and dogs make the world go round so what better way to honor my girl than giving love and care to all the dogs I can? Marley, who we recently adopted, is a 60-pound rambunctious lab mix, my parents’ dog is a 20-pound Havanese mix and Miss Daffney was a 75-pound doubledoodle (goldendoodle/labradoodle mix); my dad also had 2 rottweilers while I was growing up, so any dog breed you have I'll love and if it's one I haven't met before that's even more exciting. If your dog does need medication, I do have practice with that, not only did Daffney get medication after her cancer diagnosis she also suffered a ruptured ligament 2 years ago and was on medication, bed rest, and a special diet.
