Pet care experience
I grew up with at least 3+ dogs and 3+ cats in my parents house at any given time. In the remote woods of WV you have to learn how to be your own vet, trainer, and overall caretaker of your pets. Through high school I volunteered almost every free minute I had to the local animal shelter where i photographed, bathed, cleaned up after, and exercised all sorts of dogs from chihuahuas to rottweilers. Now as an adult I have my husky-mix who goes with me just about everywhere. Aside from dogs and cats, I have grown up riding and competing horses and currently work as an assistant horse trainer. I have spent this past summer on a ranch where I learned about large animal-care.

I have a fenced yard, lots of love to give, and a friendly husky. I am a very active person and love to get outdoors. My pooch is my hiking companion. If the weather isn't cooperating, I am still dedicated to take him to the local dog park.

I would love to know the energy level and if you believe your pup could do a longer hike or just needs a stroll. I welcome all ages and breeds. I am young and active and train horses for a living, so even your monster pooch that likes to pull won't be an issue.
A typical day
I am an avid hiker. I try to take my pup for a hike every day. If yours it up for it, I would love for him or her to join us. I often go to the Rocky Mountain National Park, or stick closer and hike at carter lake or devils backbone! If your pup loves to swim (weather accordingly) I try to incorporate water into most of my hikes (my dog loves to swim, and paddle board!). But if your pups just like a mellow stroll, I know a ton of places to get outdoors and hangout!

Availability
I am currently working horses under a professional horse trainer, so my schedule is extremely flexible (I just have to ride a certain number of horses a day). So I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights and most weekends. I am looking for long-term schedules but also have no issue being flexible and only needed when necessary.
