I grew up in a household that regularly had 2-3 dogs around. We raised puppies but we would also rescue elderly dogs from the pound to give them a safe place to live out their last few years. When I was in college, I met my now-husband and his sweet golden doodle, Sam. We joined Rover several years back after we had to say goodbye to Sam. For the first time in either of our lives we found ourself dogless but not quite ready for another of our own. We now own another goldendoodle and because we are renting, we can’t keep other dogs at our house but I’m happy to offer drop ins.
