I have 10 years of veterinary assisting experience including ER and ICU. I have worked at an all cat practice and have been trained in low stress cat handling (for medications etc.). I have experience pet sitting and dog walking with dogs ranging from 5 to 150lbs. I have a Chihuahua and understand the special care and love needed for our smaller furry family members. I have moderate experience with small animals and exotics. I love rescues and pure breeds alike, and have extensive knowledge of breeds, giving me an understanding of each one's individual needs. I also have mid level dog training experience, both standard and dogs with behavior problems. I am happy to assist with leash training, puppy training and working with dogs who may not be thrilled about other people and animals. It's not all about dogs though! Cats are unique and require special care, I enjoy making friends with shy kitties, playing with fiesty ones and brushing all that luxurious fur!
