My home is consistently clean, with a sizable/gated backyard providing a safe, fun and hygienic environment for your furry companion. Working from home also allows me to be fully dedicated to your pet's needs, ensuring a comfortable and personalized experience during their stay. I also come equipped with crates, dog beds, and many dog enrichment toys so even if you can't bring yours, your dog will get the bedding/toy situation he/she needs to feel comfortable and have fun. And as an added security, I place an airtag on your dog's collar for the entire stay for mine and your peace of mind.** What sets me apart from other sitters is my versatile skill set and genuine passion for pets. Topacio was an amazing sitter for my dog! She sent lots of pictures and updates and was super accommodating when my flight got pushed back and I had to push back my pick up time. Topacio has a lovely backyard where my dog could explore and she came home super happy! I would highly recommend Topacio :)
Topacio took great care of my pup! She was diligent about following all food/med needs and communicated well before and during the stay. My dog can be anxious during boarding stays, but Topacio was super cuddly with him and made sure he felt safe.
Topacio gave my senior dog Gavin amazing and attentive care while we were out of town for the weekend. My dog needs meds as well as some attention to help sleep at night and she handled it all so well. He was happy when we got home which is a sign he had a great time! She also shared lots of pics and video updates as well throughout the weekend. Strongly recommend!

When caring for pets in my own home, I create a safe and comfortable environment that feels like a second home to them. I provide ample playtime, regular exercise, and affection to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met, especially when they are away from mom/dad. I am also keen on maintaining established routines, including feeding schedules and medication if needed, to minimize stress. My home includes a sizable backyard with an enclosed fence and I am also within walking distance of two parks. I also love driving to the Silverlake reservoir and Elysian for midday jaunts!

I can take any dogs that have special medication needs as I can follow instructions to a T. I am very thorough, meticulous, professional, and responsible when it comes to medication. It's also imperative that your furry friend is housebroken, up-to-date on vaccines and current on flea meds. I also cannot take dogs that bark too much. Please be transparent about your dog's barking situation. Thank you. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, special needs, or behavioral issues. Does your dog like the occasional puppuccino? ;) *Due to the nature of my having a cat, I can not take dogs that are not cat-friendly.*
A typical day
I am a native Los Angelina so I know my parks/attractions well. I love primarily going to Echo Park Lake which is a five-minute walk from my house. But I also frequent Elysian Park, Vermont Canyon and Franklin Canyon Park. I also believe in enrichment for your dog throughout the day, so I like freezing treats in dog friendly broths or filling a Kong up for them. I also use dog mats to freeze peanut butter + so they are mentally active throughout the day. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies or the like so we can stay clear of any food issues.
