Treating your pets like my own
Pet care experience
I have 2 dogs of my own, as well as 3 cats and a hedgehog. I have no problems providing walks for all your dogs, and care for any other pets you might own as well. I have owned my own variety of pets for as long as I can remember, and started pet sitting for others when I was a teen. I am available nights and weekends. Most dogs and cats seem to take to me fairly quickly, and I have plenty of experience dealing with difficult dogs (anxiety, aggression, etc.). I have experience with pets that need medication as well, I've cared for diabetic pets as well as one of my own that has a heart condition and requires medicine twice a day.

Tonya is a loving and caring individual. She is very knowledgeable about animals and does research when she is unsure. She has a kind and gentle approach when training her pets and works hard towards bettering their lives. I would trust Tonya with any of my pets and would have no doubt they were well treated and taken care of while under her watchful eye.

I am not currently accepting pets into my own home for services. I am only available for overnight stays in your own home, but I can do drop in visits in the evenings or on weekends as well.

A typical day
I love playing with your pets, and am especially happy outside in nature on walks with your pups. I frequent a lot of the forest trails between Courtenay and Campbell River.

Availability
I currently work Mon-Thurs, but I have free time after work for dog walks/pet care, especially for dogs who get along with my own pup. I also have mostly open weekend availability.
