Pet care experience
To me there is nothing better than being outdoors and on a walk with a 4 legged friend. I love connecting with animals through play, affection and exercise. I have a calm and warm, friendly demeanor that animals respond well to. I aim to give your pet my full, personal attention during all of their home visits and/or walks. And because I am a local, stay at-home-mom and full-time dog walker, I am always available. In and around those jobs, I am also a Reed-Custer crossing guard and I teach regularly scheduled cooking classes to both kids a teens at Fossil Ridge Public Library. I am a pet owner myself. I have two beautiful cats named Kiki and Coco, and a two-year-old, spunky chocolate lab named Jade.

Tonya was absolutely wonderful with our dogs!! I was a little afraid of how Ivy would react. She has only been with us for a few months. She and Toby both warmed right up to Tonya! It was so nice to be able to leave the dogs in their own home and know that they were taken care of!!

I would like to know the basics: breed, name, age, special directions and the commands he/she responds best to. Also, if the dog can become aggressive or overly nervous at times. Knowing as much as possible about your pet ahead of time will help me build a faster relationship with him/her that is based on trust and affection.
A typical day
I would love to play fetch and any other game your dog loves playing with you. I am open for doing walks in and around your neighborhood and/or nearby parks. I also have a brand new dog carrier kennel that accommodates small to large dogs. That way, with your approval, I can even take your dog to local wildlife areas with trails and dog parks.
