Hi there! Thanks for dropping in :-) I'm Tonya. I am a full-time professional pet sitter available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to care for your pets. I am independently licensed, insured and bonded. A little bit about me … By trade, I am a graphic designer, coming from a 30+ year corporate background, but switched careers because being with animals brings me such complete happiness and fulfillment. While digital creation was satisfying, I feel genuine joy when in the company of animals. I've had two dogs and four cats as childhood pets that were so very special to me, and a part of my family, but my own journey began about 8 years ago when I accepted the role of a doggie foster mom for an older chocolate lab named Guinness for a friend. Guinness had some separation issues, but we worked through them together. He was by my side all the time, and while it was painful when his owner returned, I was thrilled and full of delight to see them reunited. After that amazing experience, I decided I wanted the joy animals bring to a person in my life again, and adopted my own pup, King (pictures posted). I raised and trained him from the time he was 8 weeks to 3 years old. He was a BIG, beautiful sweetheart and just loved everyone... other animals and people. Since then I have been pet sitting so many wonderful dogs and cats from puppies, active dogs to senior care. Kitties as well! Your loved ones will have my undivided, one-on-one attention during housesitting, drop-ins and dog walking visits. During our time together, I will give them lots of love and affection, snuggle time, brushing, exercise, feeding, potty breaks, inside and outside playtime... whatever I can do to make them happy and content. Please know that your pet's comfort is my mission. I am considerate and very easy to get along with; being punctual and trustworthy are extremely important to me in all aspects of life. Also, I am pleased to provide you with letters of recommendation from my current clients upon request. My husband Joe and I are looking forward to getting some rascals of our own (dogs and cats) once we have lots of space for outside play where our pet babies can frolic and romp around. We can't wait to shower them with all the love that animals deserve. In the meantime, nothing would delight me more than to share my love for animals by helping watch your baby(ies) while you are away from them. Our pets bring so much purpose and meaning into our lives, and it would be my privilege to care for yours. I do have reliable transportation for any outings we take together. I'm open to taking care of all breeds, and I'm available for all services that you may require. You will receive updates, pictures, and videos of us having a fabulous time! I am in the process of obtaining a PET CPR Certificate, so should any medical emergency arise, I will be able to attend to their needs without hesitation.

Tonya is such a wonderful dog and house sitter! We have a sweet older pup with a semi-complicated feeding/medicating schedule and Tonya took perfect care of him. She's patient, thorough, and extremely loving towards Champ, which I can tell he loves. Our house was spotless upon return and her communication is 10/10. Truly an excellent experience; we would highly recommend. I'm pretty sure he keeps giving me "the look" to find out when she will be back :D (which is soon, since we have already re-booked with Tonya!). Very grateful to have found such a good fit for our family.
Tonya did a terrific job with our fur kids! This was our first time hiring a pet sitter and we were nervous. Tonya was very thorough in getting to know us and our 3 dogs in our meet & greet before she came to stay. Our dogs took right up with her, and she sent us several photo and video updates during her stay. I definitely recommend Tonya. She put our minds at ease and did a wonderful job. Hello my name is Dalia my husband and I have 3 beautiful fur babies. We have been using Tover for two year now. We travel and have taken our fur babies with to many places. There are times that we feel for their safety and our sanity it is best they stay behind. We have experienced boarding g them and have been discounted in the quality of care. When I found Rover we gave it a chance. I have been through two care givers until we found Tonya. Where do I start. She is phenomenal absolutely amazing! Journey , one of our fur babies is very temperamental and we could always tell in the past that she was not being cared for the way we had asked. Tonya met our expectations and then some! We like to have the sitters to stay at our home or at least know what the daily agenda will be and in the past I had to reach out to see if the care giver was even there to feed our babies. It made our time away very nerve recking. I never had to reach ou to Tonya she would give me updates cute pics and videos that made us wish we where home with them! You could see that my babies where so happy , tails wagging! I highly recommend Tonya! She was very thorough and you could just tell with her actions that she was there for your babies and to make sure they had a carding living experience and to us that is priceless not to mention hard to come by. Thanks Tonya!

I love being outside and staying fit, and want your pet to have the exercise they need, so we will go over the exercise or play routines you have in place during our meet & greet, along with detailed information about their schedule, habits, likes, dislikes, feeding, care instructions, and everything in between! If your pet is older, I am happy to accommodate whatever routine you see fit for them. If your pet has any anxieties during storms, I will hold and cuddle them (under the covers if necessary!) until the bad weather passes. I will be taking great care of your home while you are away as well, so this will give us an opportunity to discuss guidelines and instructions from picking up your mail to watering your plants, if desired. Your home will be clean and tidy upon your return, and your privacy will be completely respected while I am there for your housesitting booking. Your pets will be brushed daily and bathed for free, if that is something you would like included... just let me know!

I want to know all the little details about your pet and what their life looks like when you are home, so I can keep things as normal as possible for them while you are enjoying your time away! We will discuss everything from top to bottom at the meet and greet, and I’m happy to come more than once before our booking where we can do some bonding.
A typical day
With your permission only, I would love to take your pet(s) to a park for walks/runs (always leashed) or a bark park where we can play fetch with balls or a frisbee, and spend some time outside in a fenced-in area for off-leash playtime. We can also have fun just staying home if your yard is fenced in. I am a very active person myself, so we'll stay fit together! Or, if your pet is older and doesn't require or like much walking/running, we can take light strolls and snuggle up together on the couch with a movie. I like to encourage whatever kind of playtime or activity your dog or kitty enjoys the most. I can accommodate either one. I am of the firm belief that dogs and cats need mental stimulation as well because animals are intelligent creatures. We will play games and with toys together to keep them from boredom when stuck inside or just for fun! I can do some light training, as long as you're ok with that... I feel it gives them a sense of learning and purpose. Down-time is also very important, and they can nap whenever they want; quiet time is essential. They will have the best of both worlds! I am available to pet sit for any size dog or breed. My intent is to make sure your loved one enjoys their stay with me and is comfortable, happy, and SAFE. I will ensure any schedule you have in place for them is maintained, and they will receive lots of love and affection while you are apart. Availability
As a full-time professional pet sitter, I offer pet housesitting in your home, drop-ins for 30-minutes, 1-hour (or longer) for when you are away or have a hectic schedule and need someone to walk, feed, check-in on, or stay with your pet, doggie daycare (in your home), and dog walking. I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (please check my Rover calendar for availability).
