I have16 years of experience as a professional dog walker and pet care providef. I was living in Philadelphia and moved back to JAX in the fall of 2020 to be closer to family. Over the past 20 years I've shared my life with 3 dogs and two cats; I currently live with Mister(Austrailian Shepherd), Alice(a Border Terrier), and Grace(An Orange Tabby cat); all three are rescues. I truly enjoy meeting, interacting with and becoming "friends" with other dogs; all breeds and sizes. I can't recommend Tony enough! He is the most responsible and thoughtful pet professional I have ever trusted my dog with. He always loves being with Tony and I have 100% peace of mind.
When Tony left Philadelphia to go home to Florida, we were, and still are, at a loss as to how to find someone who would be able to care for our dog(s) the way he did. We were lucky to have Tony as part of our fold for over ten years, and he cared for our Henry and Benson as if they were his own. We miss him, and we're resigned to the fact that we won't be able to find anyone as loving, responsible, and caring as Tony. *sigh*
Tony was our dog walker + sitter for over 5 years in Philadelphia. He is absolutely the best! In all the areas of concern--responsibility, knowledge of dog handling, keeping your dog safe, being careful and courteous in your house, being flexible on timing, and being wonderfully friendly and easy to work with--for both the dog and the humans!--Tony checks all the boxes. He accommodates whether your dog loves other dogs or prefers to be a "lone wolf" to ensure your dog is never stressed and always entertained. Communication regarding arrangements and status updates is excellent. Tony is literally a professional at caring for dogs and will share both your joy and concerns for your pup!
Tony is the BEST! Tony was our dog sitter/walker for ~7 years and he was amazing! Tony’s communication was always fantastic and he was so reliable. Tony really became part of our family and my pups love him so much. Tony would always go the extra mile and did a great job keeping us updated if the dogs weren’t feeling well or if, alternatively, if they had a great walk on a beautiful day. Highly recommend!

I greet your dog(s) as I would my own. Dependinig on your dog's personality, we may have a "love fest'" with belly rubs and ear scratches or get their "walking gear" on and we're out the door. If your dog(s) prefer to go out to their yard, insteaad of walking, I'll be right there with them, keeping them safe, providing company or a playmate; it's their time and as long as they take care of "business," I'm more than happy to accomidate their needs and your direction.

I need to know as much about your dog's personality as possible. Are they leash reactive with other dogs while on leash? Are there specific "routes" they enjoy walking? Are there specific stimuli that frightens them? (ie... skateboards, delivery trucks, everyday things we may encounter on our walk,) I want to know as much about your dog's personality as possible to ensure a safe, calm and productive walk.
A typical day
I believe in giving a dog the opportunity to sniff around on their walk, no need to rush. If you prefer, I'm happy to spend time with them in their own yard, playing fetch, tug, etc... let me know if there's a safe, indoor activity they enjoy and we'll engage in that.

My schedule is currently very flexible. I'm providing basic care for an elderly parent and disabled sibling; leaving plenty of time, not only for my two dogs and cat, but for your pets as well.
