Pet care experience

I have a decade of experience caring for animals and tremendous love in my heart for the little buggers, particularly dogs. Friends often say the celebrity I most resemble is Saint Francis of Assisi, you know, without the saintly part. I work with animal shelters as a volunteer walker at the Barc Shelter in Brooklyn and the Seiler Animal Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. I am also the proud director and editor of Behave Yourself, the world's first punk rock dog training video, that I shot for Animal Planet's Victoria Welles. My French Bulldog, who is now eight years old (!!!) lost the use of his hind quarters several years ago. It galvanized me to spend some time on a horse farm in Virginia and I am now a dually-certified canine and equine massage therapist. I'm a big guy so I'm able to handle some of the aggression and leash-pulling our larger friends sometimes engage in. I also LOVE the senior dogs at the shelter so much and spend a lot of time with them. Between my seniors and my Frenchie, Jasper, I've gotten good at administering meds and cleaning up accidents. Okay, now I'm just humble-bragging so I'm going to stop, but give me a shot. It will be like a fun, extramarital affair for your dog, but in the French manner so it's out in the open and we're all okay with it and no one gets hurt;)

Listen, when I say if I could give him more starts I actually feeeel that. This man not only treated my dog like family, he gave detailed updates, concerns and has a funny personality. I will only be leaving my dog with him from now on so 100/100 stars. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG WITH SOMEONE ELSE. this man GOT YOU!!!!

Tony was beyond great! He was always on time and communicated with me every day. I received pictures on a daily basis and felt at ease knowing he was watching over our son. Highly, highly recommend!

Tony is wonderful with my 2 dogs. They happily greet him. He is very sweet and gentle with them and knows exactly how to give them their treats. He ALWAYS shows up right on time. Tony is a genuinely nice guy and you can't go wrong with him!

I'm not of of those people who's doing to be dropping in and out of a sit. If I'm doing a house stay with you, I don't book any other gigs. I know this is not so with a. lot of folks on Rover, but feel my prices reflect someone who's going to be there for your pet 24/7.

Information Tony P. would like to know about your pet

I can accommodate most pets and many times take on "emergency" visits when Rover contacts me about abandoned sits. I don't understand doing that, but am happy to pitch in when it happens. Also pretty adept at injectibles and those particular about swallowing pills. My little Frenchie has brought me up to vet tech-level skills.

A typical day

Love hanging outside with your buds playing fetch or just about anything they dig (except digging, har-har). One of my favorite clients can spend hours in the backyard chasing imaginary butterflies.

I'm an internet millionaire so I retired early. My schedule is my own so can accommodate most requests. This is my preferred "side hustle" so I usually book my dog care engagements before anything else.
