Me and my husband Jonathan live with our great little dogs, Kit and Milo. We just simply love dogs and thought it would be fun having some come visit us. Our dogs Kit and Milo are also very social and LOVES to run and play. We thought maybe they would appreciate the company as well. We live in a house out by the beautiful Prescott Country Club, which offer many great places to go for a walk. Our house also have a medium sized back yard which gives the dogs more room to play and they are able to spend more time outdoors. The dogs will never be left unattended in back yard, we always go outside with them. We spend a fair amount of our time in the backyard doing homework, BBQing, or just playing with Kit and Milo. Knowing that some dogs out there are poop eaters, we have made it a habit to always clean up after the dogs right after they are done doing their business. We have a baby gate in front of the kitchen were we will keep the dog (our stays in their crates as that's what they prefer) when we are not home. If your dog prefers to be crated, then that's no problem. We go for at least one walk a day, and we always make sure during the summer months that we either go early in the morning or late at night to avoid the heat. We try to go to the dog park several times a week, and if your dog is comfortable with that we would love to take him/her as well. We also take our dog for walks through out the Prescott area (Thumb Butte, Watson Lake etc). We treat all of our furry guests like family, and will do our very best to make them feel welcomed. We know every dog is different, and always try our best to adapt to their needs. Our home is a good place for nervous or insecure pets as we give them the time and patience they need to come out of their shell. All the animals I have ever owned have been rescues, and I have learned through them that building trust takes time. If your dog has any special needs, please let us know and we will try to accommodate those needs as best as we can. Normally we only accept smaller dogs, but exceptions can be made based on energy level and personality. We cannot accommodate a larger dog with a high energy level.
