I have fostered both cats and dogs as young as newborns. I have had furry family members all my life. Training and love are both important to provide them with. I have a very flexible schedule and mostly make my own hours. I have an 18yr old daughter that plays an important role in helping to care for our foster animals. She is going to vet school and also volunteers at the MD SPCA. She has also had some training with dogs and cats including neonates. We have been know to visit pet stores to visit and love on all different types of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, birds and ferrets. We both believe that if people had the opportunity to "borrow" animals before adopting them there would be less abused and abandoned animals. This would give prospective forever families a chance to see the responsibilities involved in having a furry family member before commiting to adoption.
