Good dogs deserve love.
Pet care experience
I have been listed with Rover for around five years now and I enjoy my work a lot. I am a retired attorney in my 60's filling my senior years by doing what I love to do: caring for kids and pets. I have grown up with dogs and cats and can't imagine a life without my furry friends. I have cared for all sorts of pets from teacup chihuahuas to 100 lb. shepherds and I am happy to care for multiple dogs at their home. I have cared for puppies and old-timers and find them all delightful. I would rather care for pets in their own homes because I think they're more comfortable that way, especially if their family is out of town. But I can care for small dogs or cats in my apartment where I will walk them around the gated community or take them to a nearby park. I'm happy to care for older pets who may need special attention or extra care and petting. Pets bring out the best in people and appreciate the care we give them.

A typical day
Pets love to play and to rest. There is plenty of those activities to be had in my home or in my company. I love to take dogs to walk or tempt cats with a laser or a string. Pets are more entertaining than almost any other activity.

Availability
I do respite care for families with kids who have special needs. I currently have three steady clients whom I see each week, generally for a three hour shift at a time. I also have a commitment on Friday and Saturday nights to visit some dogs. I would be gone about an hour.
