Not only do I have a ton of experience with cats and kittens, but I used to rehab abused cats at kill shelters in NYC to give them a shot at being rehomed. Cats are not an afterthought to dogs for me; I understand them deeply and adore cats as much as any other animal. EXPERIENCE: Formerly owned a 5 star rated and highly reputable petsitting and dog walking company in NYC that I sold at the end of 2019. I absolutely LOVE special needs furbabies, seniors, bully breeds, cats with all levels of feisty/friendliness, and I have the utmost patience and love to give those with phobias, separation anxiety, and trauma histories. Medications, injections, and IV fluids are an all-inclusive part of my care when needed. I am an open and quick learner for any additional needs that I do not already have experience with. ABOUT ME: I own a private practice specializing in trauma, and this is all done virtually from home. I also own a small beauty business. My schedule allows for a lot of flexibility, including last minute care, and I have an abundance of dedicated time for love, attention, potty breaks, lots of fresh air in my fenced back yard, walks, and enrichment play. While I have a dedicated room for pets who need or prefer some alone time, I prefer to have everyone out and about. For this reason, pets with a friendly personality are essential for the safety of everyone. While not mandatory, a daycare trial is ideal before longer arrangements.
