Big Dog Enthusiast!
Pet care experience
Hello All! My name is Toneah, and I am 24 years old. I love all dogs tiny and huge (the bigger the better). From 8 years old to 20 years old I had a 185 lb Eglish Mastiff named Tyson. I was always his primary caretaker; went to every appointment made sure he was fed on time and when I began to drive we frequented the dog park and many solo adventures. As you can see I am definitely comfortable with XXL breeds, but I also love small pups too! Literally, no dog is too big, small, or scary. I believe in treating clients (furry & human) with respect, kindness, and when appropriate a good belly rub :). I work from home and receive two 15-minute breaks as well as an hour break. So dog sitting is a breeze, especially after a meeting a good game of tug-of-war or ear scratches is good for my soul. I know there's a lot of blind trusts when it comes to petting sitting. For some their pets ARE children, and I totally agree! Safety and trust are extremely important, especially in a new environment. I believe in sticking to your dogs' normal schedule as much as possible for a sense of normalcy. For pet care in my home, I have an awesome fenced area with plenty of space for zoomies and obstacles to leap over.
Reviews
Toneah took great care of our fur-babies, as always!
Toneah was fabulous with our two dogs! She came before the visits to re-orient herself and meet our dogs again. She kept us informed every day of our trip and took great care to see that everything was right and met our needs. Will definitely rebook in the future!
Our two dogs love Toneah! She came over for drop in visits and sent lots of pictures of playtime, and also updates on their walk and activities. She is great with dogs, very conscientious, and came to do a meet and greet twice to make sure she could find everything while we were away. We will definitely book again! Thank you, Toneah!
Toneah far exceeded our expectations in every way possible. This was my first experIence hiring a pet sitter. My girlfriend and I were very concerned about leaving our 4 month old puppy for a week while we were out of the country, and I dug through dozens of reviews on Rover before deciding on Toneah. She did everything possible to put us at ease, going so far as to ask us to provide a schedule of our puppies daily routine so she could replicate it as closely as possible. We also received daily updates including pictures and videos that really helped us to relax on our trip. It was clearly evident from the pictures that our pup had a great time with Toneah and her family! Toneah is very clearly a person who loves animals, and any pet would be lucky to stay with her. She will be the first person I reach out to going forward for any pet sitting related needs. 10/10 experience, can’t recommend highly enough.

Information Toneah B. would like to know about your pet
Most important - What are your dogs' typical days? I'd like to mimic their home life as much as possible to make it an enjoyable experience! I would like to know if your dog is potty trained, leash trained, understand simple commands (sit, stay), if your dog can be off-leash (to play in open fields at the park), and if there are any special needs for your dog. Also, I am extremely comfortable with larger breeds, but I don't discriminate! Small dogs are welcome too!
A typical day
You can expect LOTS of pictures with daily updates! I also enjoy taking walks/biking around Red Run Valley Trails and sitting on the deck during the workday for fresh air. Dogs enjoy sitting out with me on the elevated pet bed that keeps them cool and watch in awe of the deer, birds, and squirrels in the forest. Ending the day with a nice homemade frozen blueberry treat for the pups is total bliss!
