We do this because we LOVE to do it, not because we have to❤️ We are Tom & Nikki and welcome to our Rover profile😄. Let us introduce ourselves! 🐶ABOUT US🐶 Hi, I’m Tom😊. I’ve been an animal and dog lover since I was a kid! When Nikki and I got married, I became a proud fur dad to her two beloved elderly English Bulldog brothers. Taking care of their special needs and medications taught me a great deal about senior dog care. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to both of them😢, and our home has felt pretty empty without the tippy tap sounds of their toebeans running around everywhere😔. We truly miss the joy and companionship dogs bring, and that is why we decided to open up our hearts and home to provide exceptional love and superior care to the wonderful dogs of our community. We consider your dogs not just pets, but cherished family members of our own family🐶❤️🐶! Hi, I’m Nikki😄. I’ve had a dog obsession for as long as I can remember🐶😍😂! Yes, I’m “that dog person” that whenever I see a furry floof off in the distance, I stop everything I’m doing and run over to squish it🤣. It’s literally impossible for me not to get attached to every dog under our care😆. As a matter of fact, Tom often jokes about how I need to go to therapy because I just want to hold onto each dog that comes over and continue spoiling it with love forever, while he also reminds me that I eventually do have to return the dog back to their family🤣! I have owned and loved 3 English Bulldogs, a breed notorious for being extremely high maintenance (in every aspect😆). And because of my experience owning multiple dogs from this AMAZING (but VERY high maintenance) breed, I’ve been trained extensively to pay very close attention to any sudden or abnormal changes in a dog’s behavior. By default, all dogs under our care are treated like our own❤️, and we don’t know any other way to treat these precious creatures that Tom and I both consider angels on earth😇🥰! 🐶SIZES WE CURRENTLY ACCEPT🐶 Nub🤏🏼 (teacup/toy): 0-10lbs Floof☁️: 10-20lbs Chonk🐽: 20-30lbs **We do make rare exceptions for dogs over 30lbs on a case by case basis🐶❤️ 🐶Please Note🐶: Because safety is our number one priority for all dogs under our care, we have a zero aggression policy. Meaning that if your dog currently has (or has a history of) signs of aggression towards other dogs and/or humans, that for the safety of your dog and the other dogs here, your best option may be to go with a sitter who watches one dog at a time. 🐶MEET & GREETS🐶 Meet and Greets will take place in our front/side yard and be limited to 15 minutes. We do not give a house tour due to liability reasons, however there is a collection of pictures on our profile that you can use for visual reference :) 🐶OUR SCHEDULE🐶 Nikki is home all day full-time 24/7-7 days a week for doggy daycare and boarders, and Tom is home all day Sat & Sun, and M-F he is home until 2pm.

We are so thankful that we were able to find Tom and Nikki. Upon leaving our little Yorkie, who is only 5 months old with them for a week while we went to Barbados. We were amazed by the many photos and communications they shared to let us know how she was doing. They sent the joy that our dog had with them and the love that they showed. Having moved to a new state and not knowing anyone, we are so grateful to have found Tom and Nikki. We had so much peace of mind while we were on our trip knowing such kind people were taking care of our Sammie. She came home one happy little puppy.🐶They are the best you can find!❤️

Our cozy home is an ocean of coziness with fluffy dog beds in every area for your dog to lounge in, we have a nice air conditioner that cranks in the summer and a nice heater that keeps the home nice and toasty in the winter, and we have a securely fenced-in yard where your fur baby can enjoy sunbathing, outdoor playtime, and leisurely walks. Safety is our top priority, and we’ll keep a close eye on them both indoors and outdoors to ensure their well-being. There is no part of our home that is off limits to your fur baby, and they are allowed on all the furniture (we regularly deep clean every part of our home, especially all the furniture upholstery and rugs). We want them to feel right at home the moment they arrive in our driveway! 🐶DROP-OFF/PICK-UP🐶 When you arrive here for drop-off's and pick-up's (and Meet & Greets), please park anywhere behind the little red-orange house (that's our house😄), and one of us will meet you at our side kitchen porch/door where you can drop off and pick up your pup. Please have your dog on a leash. We will unleash them once they're safely inside our home. NOTE: Please do not park in the driveway so we don't block the nice neighbors that live behind us. Thank you! 🐶DURING YOUR PUP'S STAY🐶 When your dog first arrives, we closely observe and monitor their interactions with other dogs (because we typically have multiple dogs here with us at any given time) to be aware of any dynamics that require attention. If any concerns arise, we promptly separate dogs into separate areas (we have multiple gates secured to each doorway inside our home) to ensure their well-being and comfort. 🐶FEEDING🐶 At mealtime, your dog will enjoy their food in a designated and separated area, ensuring they can savor their meal without interruptions from other dogs. This practice not only prevents food-related aggression but also reduces the likelihood of digestive problems that may occur when consuming unfamiliar dog food. 🐶SLEEPING🐶 • Crate-trained dogs will sleep in crates (we have a wide variety of sizes available, so no need to lug yours over here. We’ve got you covered!) • Dogs who are not crate-trained will sleep in their own separate securely sectioned-off area • Special accommodations can be made for dogs who are not able to do either of these sleeping arrangements

The more detailed information you give us about your precious dog, the better experience it will be for them! There's no such thing as too much information when it comes to us getting to know your precious fur baby. We want to know all the important details (and quirks you love about them) as if they were our own, to ensure your dog has the best experience every time they come to stay with Uncle Tom and Auntie Nikki for a visit! THINGS WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DOG • Quirks or habits that would be helpful to know (Examples: chewing on paws, separation anxiety, excessive barking, humping etc.) • Current or past illnesses, injuries, or traumatic history/triggers • If they are taking any medication or require any special care instructions • Is your dog up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick medication? Note: We understand vaccines (and even flea/tick prevention medications) are not bulletproof and that some illnesses may have an extended incubation period, but we highly recommend your dog stays up-to-date with all recommended shots from their Vet to create the safest experience for them (and the other dogs here) while they stay here with us. A typical day
During your fur baby's stay, we’ll be sure to send you plenty of picture and video pupdates of your pup so you can have peace of mind knowing your baby is being lovingly cared for! We understand that while you're away, your schedule may not always allow for responses to all our pupdates, so we just want to clarify that there’s no pressure at all to reply to any of our messages. All the pupdates we send are so whenever you feel like opening the Rover app to see how your baby is doing, you'll be greeted with tons of pictures and videos of them! Depending on your dog's personality, if he or she is limited to physical activity because maybe they're prone to overheat easily, then we would make sure they were spoiled with head scratches and belly rubs...fully relaxed in a cool temperature controlled environment. But if your dog is more high energy and loves to exercise and play a lot, just let us know so we can be sure to accommodate the active lifestyle they're used to (while also giving them head scratches and belly rubs in between playing fetch lol!). Thank you so much for considering us to care for your precious pup. It would be our honor to love and cherish them while you're away. We look forward to hearing from you and creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere your fur baby will absolutely love!
