Pet care experience
I have raised 4- dogs from puppies through end of life. Currently, I have 3-Labrador Retrievers aged 1 1/2 to 9 1/2 years of age. I’ve cared for and loved all of my dogs as family. My wife and I have no children, our pets are “our kids.” I’m a retired NYPD 9/11 first responder Sergeant and have experience working and training with K9 dogs in a public safety environment. Safety and security of your pet and your home will always be my first priority. I always treat people and pets with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

I have a large fenced yard with a pool if your fur baby likes to swim. I also have a crate(s) on hand if needed. As a retired police officer, my main focus is safety, whether it be my surroundings or the safety of YOUR dog!

Let me know the behavior of your pet. I would prefer dogs that get along with other dogs, and are not dominant or have Alpha attributes. We can discuss these types of dogs and perhaps have a sample visit to see how we get along. My dogs love interacting with dogs their own size or smaller who love to chase balls and toys.
A typical day
I hope that your dog will get along with my 3 playful Labrador Retrievers so they can all play together. If not, my house is big enough where they can easily be separated. I will gladly walk your pet on a leash in my neighborhood if requested.

Availability
I’m currently retired from full time as a NY first responder. I do occasional part time jobs now to stay busy. As a new FL resident, I like to explore the area quite a bit and find that walking dogs is a great way to familiarize myself with the neighborhood.
