Dogs naturally like me and are attracted to me. I don't know why. Maybe it is because I have always owned dogs and relate to them and them to me. I am also good with other animals as in cats and horses. I grew up as a boy in the country and learned to respect all life. I am a retired business man now with time on my hands who is tired of a the daily routine I have been following for the last 45 years. Rewards are in the journey with an animal and the successes you have with them are in the smiles, barks, and wagging tails that you share with "man's best friend". In training and living with my dogs over the years I have learned to encourage trust with an animal you must be honest, fair and consistent. You want to build a bond by communicating and exercising with your pet and most of all you must be forgiving.
