Pet care experience
The first thing I’d like to share; I’m not solely doing this for money! My wife and I have been inspired by friends who have turned a “side hustle” into charity. Every month, we’ll be donating 10% of our Rover income to Indy Animal Care Services! I’ve had 3 pups in my home with my wife since we merged families 5 years ago! We’ve raised them since they were puppies; they are very well-behaved and sweet. I have my master’s degree, work in accounting (from home!). My wife also works as an accountant, and Rover as well! we own our house in Westfield with a 6 foot privacy fence. We’re doing this to give back, to have a hobby and to earn a little extra money for vacations next year.

Tom and Katie were the absolute best caregivers for our fur baby, Brody! He is an energetic Irish Setter and requires lots of exercise and attention. We are so thankful for their tending to his needs including long walks, frequent playtime, medication administration, and endless snuggles! They also took tremendous care of our home, all while keeping us updated while we were away with pictures, summaries of the day, and communication. We have had various pet sitters and boarding locations over the years, and Tom and Katie take the cake when it comes to quality care! Above and beyond!!!! We are so thankful and hope to hire them again!

Absolutely would recommend Tom and Katherine to watch your dog! I needed a regular daycare for my dog and Tom and Katherine were more than willing to work around my schedule. I took Maverick for a trial daycare and I could immediately tell how attentive they were to my pup and his needs. They frequently sent photos and videos and took in my dog like he was one of their own. Their own dogs were extremely friendly and welcoming to my dog. You can just tell that they treat dogs as family members and not just an animal. I could tell how happy he was from his day with them and got back a tired and happy dog. I am so excited that I found them on Rover and am excited for weekly daycare with them! Would recommend them to everyone who needs a babysitter, daycare, boarding, or whatever your needs are!

A typical day
I’m happy to take pets for walks, play fetch, tug of war, whatever is in the routine that you dog parents have created! I want to keep consistency, or even provide extra activity should you deem it necessary.

Availability
I work from home 5 days a week, and don’t typically have long-term commitments outside of the home! I am available for boarding, sitting, drop-ins or walks at your convenience. My only ask is an hour-or-so flexibility in case a meeting for work pops up!
