Hi I'm Tom! I am an Air Force veteran and Reservist at Duke Field also taking online classes. I grew up with labs and have lived alongside many breeds comfortably over the past 10 years. I'd love to help make your pets feel safe and at home while you're away. I've been joyfully taking care of friends' and family pets for the past several years and now with my own home I can expand my offerings. I do not have pets of my own because I need flexibility to work and travel. However, I love animals and when I'm available I would be happy to have yours over and treat them like family! I am active but gentle and will play with and tire them out daily. Walks, runs, and fetch are naturally in the playbook. They will have continuous access to the fenced backyard and free access to roam and rest in safe common areas. I will happily send pictures and videos daily! Offer free wash for long stays (5+ days) and free pickup/dropoff in Crestview. I am also good with cats and will watch them as long as no dogs are booked. I have animal CPR/first aid training with direct access to veterinarian assistance. Dogs not allowed in my bed but I will crash with them on my couch anytime. Cheers!

Did a great job with my dog!
I've known Thomas for a very long time. He is a very caring, loving, responsible young man. He has pet sat my dogs & parrots. I know he's had pets of his own for most of his life. I think you should meet him & see for yourself & let your pet meet him. I wish I still lived near him as I would have him watch my dog when I travel. If you ask him to give you picture updates, I'm sure he'd be happy to oblige!
Tom has been a sitter for my husband's and my dog, Bender, time and time again throughout the past 2 years. Bender is a Weimaraner; he is 3 years old and very energetic. He can certainly be a handful, but Tom has always been very good with him. Tom has stayed in our home with Bender, and he has had Bender stay at his house. In both situations, Bender seemed to be happy and healthy when we got him back. We certainly recommend Tom to anyone looking for a nice, active, and caring dog sitter that will actually play with your pets and spend time with them while you're away. We plan on using his dog-sitting services for future trips and outings, and we absolutely recommend him to anyone else as well!

I would like to meet dogs prior to boarding to ensure compatibility with me and other potential guest pets. No need for kennel training, but general house training is a must. Dogs can be high energy but should play well with others.
A typical day
Walk/jog through the neighborhood and local forest. Fetch and play wrestling as appropriate in yard. Endless cuddles on the couch! Visits to the dog park or beach can be arranged for repeat guests once temperament is known.
