Pet care experience
I've owned three rescue dogs from adoption to grave over the last 30+ years, as well as dog-sat for relatives on numerous occasions. I've owned the best, the average and the extremely challenging, and have made them all work.

I would first want to understand the dogs' needs and routines before deciding if I am a good fit for satisfying those needs. I would then establish clear expectations for my service with the client that would satisfy the client and their pets.

I would need to know special needs or concern areas, including the dog’s tendencies when encountering other dogs and strangers. Most of my experience and preference is with large breed dogs (labs, shepherds, Rottweilers) and mixes of those breeds.
A typical day
I tailor this to the dog. If dog parks work, I like to go there. If off leash fetching at a local park works, great. Long walks around the neighborhood are fun too.

I have recently retired, so I have a lot of flexibility but also am involved in a variety of volunteer work. I am in good physical shape, and would love to exercise your dogs while I exercise too.
