I’ve taken care of dogs since lockdown in 2022. Both situations were within the family, taking care of 2 sets of my cousins dogs as they worked from home over 2020 and were on vacation in 2021 and 22. My experience stretched from a newly arrived puppy in 2020, where I played an integral role in her training to an older golden retriever this summer where I mainly took her on walks and gave her baths over summer. I do most of my university work from my home and already go on walks and exercise in the evening so my routine is already catered around having a dog. I live by myself in a studio, so there’s no one who i have to cater my daily/weekly schedule around and I’m therefore available and free on my own basis. I’m also flexible and will be able to communicate if anything changes my available I think the most attractive thing about where I live is that it’s right next to Leazes Park, so in less than a minute I can take the dog on walks in nature where he/she can play with the other dogs.
