Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Todd. I have had dogs since I was a baby. More recently as an adult we've had four dogs over the past 16 years. We currently have two rescues and my wife has fostered doggos for many years so there are always dogs coming and going! I am well experienced with pitbulls and other bully breeds as we owned two amazing pitties who are sadly no longer with us. But I'm also experienced with small dogs as we have a 13-pound poodle-dachshund mix! And I grew up with dachshunds when I was a kid. Thanks for looking and please let me know if you'd like to meet or chat to discuss your pet care needs. I work full time but work remotely as a real estate broker. I often have tours/showings but I am usually not away from home for more than a few hours at a time. We have a suburban home with a nice grassy fenced-in yard. Our two dogs love to host dog friends and have play dates. We always watch the dogs to make sure they are getting along well and not playing too roughly with each other.

I always want to come over to meet the dog/dogs and the owner (or they are welcome to do a meet and greet at my house if they are staying with me). It's crucial to make sure everyone understands the expectations and also ensure the dogs all get along. We will only pursue if everyone has a clear understanding of the expectations and is comfortable that it's a good fit for all parties (and dogs).

It's very important to know the dog's needs and comfort and energy levels. How long can the dog walk for without fatigue? Is he/she in good shape? Is he/she high energy? Is he/she friendly with other dogs? Resource guarder? Etc.
A typical day
Depends on the needs of the dog but as you know, dogs generally love to explore new places and sights and smells! A leashed walk in a park on a nice day -- what could be better for Fido and for we humans too!
