With vets for parents, my household growing up resembled Dr Doolittle's home, with a broad range of animals ranging from dogs, cats, fish and rabbits to more exotic creatures such as ferrets, snakes, chinchillas and beyond! So evidently from a young age I was encouraged to develop an empathetic relationship with animals, and was taught through experience just how lucky we are to share our time and space with them. I have experience in dealing with a broad range of animals but more recently have worked with dog and cat care predominantly. This experience encompasses a broad range, from more anxious and nervous dogs who work within a more structured schedule, to more relaxed dogs who need less detail-orientated work. I am comfortable with these detailed routines and differing reward systems, and appreciate the importance of consistency in keeping your pet happy and in check. This experience has also largely been through dog-sitting at the owner's home, which further provides theconsistency and stability. Similarly I have worked with puppies and senior doggos, including providing medicine etc and would be very happy to work with you on the best way to care for these lovely creatures!
