I love all animals! I've had kittens and cats all my life, both long-and short-haired, calicos, tuxedos and more. I've also fostered several for Seattle Animal Shelter and have three cats currently in my family: Arthur (buff tabby), River (gray tabby) and Simon (orange tabby). Fostering cats helped me really understand how different each cat can be - they're all individuals with personalities of their own. From many years of experience, I am familiar with a whole gamut of cat behaviors and needs. I am happy to brush your cat, change the kitty litter, trim nails if they cat allows it, play with cat toys, or sit quietly and provide a lap. Due to my husband's allergies, I have to settle for my friends' and other family members' dogs. I had a "god-dog" for many years who I walked regularly and my daughter has a dog (golden lab) who I visit often! We had an adorable long-haired chihuahua in our home for about one year when my daughter lived with us. I walk regularly and would love to take your special pet along with me! I'm also happy to check on lonely dogs and give them some hugs and/or play! I've also had birds (parakeets), frogs, and hamsters. I remember feeding live crickets to the frogs. My family enjoyed many a teddy bear hamster rolling around in his ball and sleeping on our laps. I'm happy to take care of any pet - even a snake or ferret because I love to be with animals! I'm a great people person, too!
