My husband and I had a wonderful Labrador mix, Kira, for 15 years until she passed away in May 2016. I also grew up with several cats and a couple dogs (a German Shepherd and a poodle). While we are not ready to own another pet full-time, we would welcome daily interactions with animals. We both work from home, so have flexible schedules that make it easy for us to spend time with pets. And we find that animals often approach us on their own :-)
