Big heart to big hearts!
Pet care experience
I've been caring for pets since I was a little boy off and on. I'm in my 40's now! I've owned fish, turtles, snakes and lizards! I used to catch, frogs, snakes and lizards when I was a boy and know how to handle them! Dogs are love machines. So are cats and as you know, they can be just a bit more....selective! My last buddy, Midi (an American Eskimo) I took care of for a number of years - bathing, feeding, and walking her. I had to move and miss Midi very much. I love taking care of pets as I don't curently own my own and love the attention and love I recieve from them as well! I have loved on cats I've owned and taken care of since I was a kid. Grew up in a house full of cats 6 I believe. Katie was the oldest. She lived to be 16 years old! I'm a bit of an introvert-wannabe extrovert, looking to make positive connections with people and animals! I am certified in dog and cat CPR and have worked with traumitaized dogs in the past. Midi was one of them.
Reviews
Tobach is very sweet and he bonded with our two labs instantly. He can work with even the most energetic and not well trained dogs. He was respectful of our home when he house sat and watched our dogs. He is very communicative and gave us check ins and pictures throughout the day! I highly recommend him especially if you are in Colfax! ?
Tobach is awesome with my mutts! He really desires to connect the best he can with the animals, for their sake of feeling comfortable while the alphas are out. I had no doubt he cared well for them while I was away.
Tobach is so wonderful! A lovely human and great with our girls. Looking forward to having him back soon.
I have known Tobach for two years. I met him when he lived in Los Angeles. At the time he lived with a room mate who had a dog. Tobach would often take the dog for walks and take care if it when his room mate was not able to. The fact that he took care of his room mate's dog tells me that he cared for it and was sensitive to its needs. Tobach always shared how much he enjoyed taking care if the dog by taking it for walks. I definitely would trust that if Tobach were to take care of one my pets it would be well taken care of.

Well loving on them is I believe the most important thing, showing them love, affection, and respect. This greatly benefits me and them of coarse. That includes not only paying attention to them ( belly rubs, petting them and talking to them lovingly), playing with them, taking them on walks, feeding them on time, bathing them if needed, taking them to vet if needed, and giving them medication. Basically anything I would do for my pet if I had one to care for! :) Being a responsible pet temp-owner.

Information Tobach N. would like to know about your pet
How and when to administer each of your pet’s medications if any? Your pet’s daily food intake, including dry food, wet food and treats and where you keep them? Can I use my own treats? How much and how often go outside, go potty. Your dog’s favourite games and toys and where you keep them? Your dog’s personality — does she get along with other animals and people? Does she have any anxieties? Is he/she a special needs dog? Your favourite walking spots and dog parks. :)
A typical day
I would take them on a short hike if allowed and depending on the weather. Of coarse a walk which is always fun for me :) I would take them to the park and play catch with them or tug o war with any toy they like! It really depends on what kind of personality they have...Some dogs don't like to play catch, some like to play tug o' war, some just like belly rubs. I believe ALL like walks! A cat likes lasers, cat nip depending on the owner, and different types of toys if he is an indoor cat or an outdoor cat. I am suspecting he would be an indoor cat if the owner would want me stopping by or house sitting. I also believe it takes time to build trust with a dog or cat. So it depends on this also. This could take a couple days to many weeks even with some dogs or even a cat if they have been badly traumatized in the past.

Hopefully this turns out to be a fulltime job! I have a lot of free time on my hands and would like to take care of pets more often. I love all types of animals!
