Now using my Rover account in Seattle to find support for Hugo, and sometimes Hugo and Radio together. Dogs are full-fledged members of our families. (Some even run our households!) Because they love their humans unconditionally, pets often experience various levels of anxiety about new environments. So it’s an absolute privilege for clients to request me to care for and manage their pup’s unique needs — and even more so when they trust me to socialize and exercise them safely. SF Animal Care & Control tightly regulates the commercial dog walking industry. That’s why there are only 200 of us granted professional licenses as of 2019. I completed my City-approved field & classroom training locally from Animal Behavioral College. My vehicle has been angency-inspected and approved as well. I’m a member of both Dog*tec and Pet Sitters Associates. For peace of mind, I carry my own $1 million in general liability insurance + add’l day care and boarding coverage, on top of Rover.com's policy. (NOTE: I do have hallway neighbors so unfortunately I cannot care for dogs who tend to bark or cry to soothe their separation anxiety.) If park/beach outings or urban dog heavens like Bernal Hill are requested, I carry a first aid kit, plenty of water, a charged iPhone, and a heart full of love.
