Pet care experience
We have a large family and are all animal lovers! We have 6 of our own fur babies and treat them like family. I used to housesit/dog sit while in high school and in college and look forward to doing more of it soon! We are not native KC'ers but we have lived in KC for the past 4 years. All of our dogs are rescue dogs and range from 5 years - 8 years old. We love to let the dogs run and play outside as long as they can and then they love to come inside and play with their toys or cuddle with us and the kids.

Tisha takes amazing care of our fur-babies. Her communication skills are excellent. She sends the best photos and our dogs love her! I cannot say enough of how awesome she is.
Tisha always goes above and beyond to make sure my fur babies are well taken care of. She includes little details about the dogs in her summary that make me appreciate her even more! They love her!

I am patient and will do my best to make sure your fur babies feel as comfortable as they can while you are away. I am comfortable using a leash/harness you provide or I can bring a slip lead to use for walks.

Please let me know if you're dog/s might need any special accommodations. For example, I have an escape artist who loves to get out of his harness so we have switched to a slip lead. Or one of our dogs has some anxiety on walks when it starts to get dark and barks at everything
A typical day
We love to go to the dog park if your dog is dog friendly. Otherwise we can hit a trail or two or if you are more comfortable, we can stick around the neighborhood for a walk.

I'm currently a stay at home mom and all my kids are now in school/daycare. This gives me lots of time during the day to go on walks and check on your fur babies.
