I used to be active in the Greater New York area, Maryland, and New Jersey. Now I’m in Cali, and I look forward to making your life easier by providing a safe environment for your pets. I am excited to meet new dog friends (and ofc human friends as well). About my apartment: I live in a 2b2b apartment with my husband and my dog. I have a big carpet in each room and this is because walking on slippery wooden floors can cause joint and nail problems in dogs. Cleanliness: Every month, I hire professional cleaning team to do detailed cleaning using only pet friendly and natural products. Water source: I get my water source from Whole Foods’ filtered water. And I have a water bowl in each room. Dog bed: There are multiple dog beds and bean bags around the house. I also have a big sofa for them, and I vacuum it everyday. My bed: I only have a mattress in my master room. This is because I have a corgi and I want to avoid him from jumping on the bed. For the other bedroom, I have a dog ramp for them to get on the bed. I usually have dog beds around my bed, so they can either decide to slip with me, or alone. My neighborhood: I live on the quiet side of my neighborhood. There are large lawns for them to play around. Few blocks away from my neighborhood, there is a small lively business district, and sometimes I take them there to practice how to behave well in a populated area. I'll do what's most comfortable for your dog based on your dog’s personality. When I walk the dogs, I am extremely cautious. I watch around for unfriendly dogs. I have the experience to make a quick judgment, whether to say hi or walk away. Daily routine: Morning: A walk around my neighborhood. Breakfast time (My dog, Pika, is trained to wait patiently for other dogs to finish eating before he eats. Playtime. Noon: Nap + snacks time Afternoon: clicker training and clicker game time. Night: night walk and teeth cleaning before bed. * Potty break schedule: At least 3 times a day. Usually during morning, afternoon, and night. The relationship between dogs is also very delicate, most of them can get along very well and become lifelong friends. Rarely do I have dogs that don't get along with my dog, but if that is the case, I would have to kindly reject your pet. I know we both want the dogs to be comfortable with each other. Stress can shorten the lifespan of dogs, which is something we don't want. This is why I will request the two dogs to meet before your pet is coming to my house. When I met my dog pika, I knew that a seed of sadness had been planted in my heart and that he would leave me one day. I can't repay the happiness he brings to me, all I can do is to make him happy, safe and healthy. I started Rover to allow my dogs to make new paw friends. I will care for them in the most professional and loving way. Me and Pika daddy are super dog lover! We have experience with multiple breeds, ages and sizes of dogs. We have been proud parent to teach and love our healthy corgi ,he is 8years old ，well behaved , we trained he well since he was 3months .My lifelong love for animals as well as my extensive experience caring for dogs would make me a great sitter for yours. we moved from New York to Maryland . Then Maryland back to Newport. Most of the time， I work from home so your dog will always have company and get a a lot of attention and love. I've had plenty of experience working with animals.I'd love to take care for yours! I'm active and will run and play with your pup and give them lots of attention. There's nothing better than providing care for such loving creatures and I can't wait to meet yours.
