Pet care experience
I am a passionate animal lover and have had pets since I was 5 years old. I have taken care of dogs ranging from a demanding Yorkie to a laid-back Scottie to a high energy Bichon puppy & talkative Huskies. I have trained several owners with their dogs & helped with challenging pet concerns. I also have a special affinity with kitties and have helped take care of a TNR (trap, neuter, release) program for cats & kittens getting several of them adopted into loving homes. I will give your dog & kitty all the love they need while you're away. I will take care of your pet in the comfort of their home for their comfort & security all with a kiss & a hug!

For many years now, I have been involved with TNR (trap, neuter, return) of homeless cats. I have always used traps to capture the cats, until...Tina came along. Tina has the gift of befriending and earning the trust of even the most feral of felines. Cats who scatter when anybody else comes close soon allow Tina to pet them, eventually letting her pick them up, and even tolerating her putting them in a carrier. In addition to having the compassion and patience that go along with such abilities, Tina is also totally reliable and trustworthy. She has taken over the care of some ferals and has proven to be resourceful when problems arise and super clean with feeding stations. By the way, Tina is good with dogs as well. Just ask her own dog Maya (the sweetest husky ever) or the many other dogs that live in our condo complex. Barkers, biters, and hyperactive dogs calm down in her presence, and Tina is able to connect with each one of them. To me, she is the perfect example of an animal person.
I've know Tina for over 5 years. She is an extremely caring and compassionate individual who is always there to offer help in any way she can. She is exceptionally gifted when it comes to animals. During the 5 years she lived in my condominium complex, she was unselfishly dedicated to the daily feeding, twice a day, of all the feral cats that had been previously trapped, neutered, and released in our complex. I feel personally touched by her dedication to those animals and her willingness to give so much of her own personal time to care for them. I would highly recommend Tina as a responsible and loving dog caregiver to anyone who wants the best care for their dog.
Tinamarie is very dedicated to making a dogs life safe, fun and well cared for. I have known her to be very loving in caring for my dog on numerous occasions over several years. She always understands my dogs special dietary restrictions and allergies needs. My little guy is always excited to see her! I would highly recommend her to anyone.
To call Tinamarie a dog whisperer is an understatement. She is an animal whisperer. When I met her she was walking her dog and taking care of the ferral cat community in our neighborhood. Rain or shine, before work and after she was out there. Animals gravitate to her. Her knowlege of dogs was very helpful when I decided to adopt Holly my little Yorkie. There is no one I trust more to take care of Holly than Tinamarie. She will take care of your four legged babies as if they were her own. Cynthia C.

Before sitting for you and your pet I will come for a free consultation with you and your pets. I will get to know you and your pet and their likes & dislikes. If your pet needs medication or special care I can administer that as well. We will go over any questions or concerns you may have.
A typical day
Your dog (s) will go out for a 1/2 hr. walk in your neighborhood or play with them in your yard. If they like to hike in a certain area we can do that too. Walking is great exercise for dogs and helps socialize them and keep them from getting bored while keeping them fit. Do they love to fetch? play ball? run in crazy circles? We an do all of that! Older pet? we can also just take it slow and easy & enjoy being outside in the fresh air. I also take care of kitties and will scoop litter, tidy the area, play with their favorite toys and give them kisses on the nose!
