I've had dogs and cats in my life for a very long time. I am not "a dog person" or a "cat person". I love both! Several of my dogs have been high maintenance, with separation anxiety. I have also fostered kittens through PAWs of Coronado (15 kittens in one year!) My friends will tell you that I immediately gravitate towards their pets when I come in their homes. Now that my 3 children are grown and raised, I have more time to spend with animals of all kind! I currently have a Yorkie Poo (17 lbs) and a 3 year old cat. You should know that I will not take your dog to a dog beach or dog park, as I had a puppy who was fatally wounded at a dog beach. I have experience with giving oral medication to dogs and cats. My 1-2 lb prior foster kittens have required twice daily weigh-ins and medication administration. I work full time in financial services downtown (8:30-5:00), so will be available for walks before and after work, at lunchtime (if near downtown), weekends, and holidays. I am a homebody on weekends and holidays, except for walking and exercising my dog! . On Fridays, I am available beginning at 3:15pm.
