Pet care experience
Since I was young, I have had some experience volunteering at shelters and being contacted by friends to help take care of their pets whenever they're on trips, etc. I am currently training my own dog to be a certified therapy team. I am fully committed to a positive reinforcement experience (I have even encouraged my friend to train her kittens, and they've gotten to learn how to high five, hah!). Outside of the pet realm, I have had 2 years of experience working as a personal care assistant, so I understand that safety, comfort, and trust is a top requirement that must be met. I prefer being as transparent as possible and meet any needs to make the stay as comfortable an experience for the owner and the pet.

We used Tina for the first time to check in on our two cats while we were away for 5 days. She was very personable at our meet-and-greet and instilled confidence that our cats would be getting great care. She communicated wonderfully each day and snapped some great pics of our outgoing cat, Edgar. We would 100% use Tina again.
Tina was the most amazing cat sitter we’ve ever had. Our cat has severe separation anxiety, but on her first meeting Tina was able to build trust and connection with our cat faster than most of our friends and family who come over on a regular basis. Tina’s updates after her check-ins were thorough and the photos she sent made us feel like our cat was being loved and cared for while we’re were away. We will absolutely book with Tina again the next time we are out of town!

Reactivity, triggers, no-go pet zones/handling sensitivities should also be mentioned.

Please let me know if your dog or cat is reactive/fearful to any stimuli (dogs, bikes, noises, etc.) as well as any sensitive areas of body handling. I would also like to know general commands your pup may know to increase engagement during the visit!
A typical day
I highly focus on creating a positive and enriching environment for your pup. For walks, I do encourage sniffing whenever possible rather than just physical exercise, and I am open to engaging with your dog through mental stimulation (puzzle toys, KONGs, etc.). General training can be accommodated during visits as well!
