Dachshund lovers w/ big fenced yard
Pet care experience
We've always had dogs in our life. We have 2 doxies currently. We fostered 14 dachshunds through Midwest dachshund rescue and loved it. We know there is a need for a safe, comfortable and Doxie loving home to watch doxies when their parents need to travel. We are doing this out of love since we know how particular we are about where our dogs stay. Our Mylo had back surgery in 2016, so we are very aware of proper dachshund care. Dogs have the kitchen when we are gone, sleep in our bed with us if needed and have a safe fenced in yard. Our dogs did very well with all foster dogs, so I'm confidant this will work well. We hope this is just what you were looking for!

Tina was great - easy to communicate with, clearly very responsible, and respectful of Milo's needs. I trust that she took very good care of Milo and I will definitely use her again.
Tina and Joe were awesome! They took wonderful care of our two five year old dogs Bee and Tucker, who were both boarding for the first time. Bee, a Chihuahua/terrier mix, had quite bit of barky up in your face type of anxiety at first. Tina, Joe, and their mini doxies Bean and Milo, delt with her calmly which really helped her settle down. Tucker seemed quite happy to have other mini doxies to play with. They both thoroughly enjoyed their large fenced backyard. In the days following their stay our dogs did much better readjusting than they did in the days after my mom, who they know and love, stayed at our house with them. We couldn't be more pleased with how Tina and Joe took care of Bee and Tucker! We will definitely be contacting them the next time we need to board our dogs!
Everything went great! This was our first time using Rover and we were impressed. We will definitely be using Tina again. Our dog usually comes back from kennels very spooked and it takes awhile for him to relax. He settled back into our home quickly and easily after his weekend with Tina!
I know Tina and Joe from Dachshund Rescue. They were one of my foster homes. They are caring people who truly care about their pets like family and have a home set up for them. I would be comfortable leaving my dogs with them without hesitation, and highly recommend them.
