Caring for your pups like my own!

Pet care experience

All the Creature Comforts, LLC! I love cats & dogs and through Rover, I meet new ones every day! I have 30 years of experience with dogs and cats. I am available full time for your pet needs and I welcome short notice bookings for current clients. In addition to our own furry family, I have watched pets in their home and mine, overnight, done multiple daily dog walks, administered medications, given allergy shots, cleaned up yards and done a bit of training. I’ve also helped with tracking and administering flea and tick preventatives as well as heartworm prevention. I’ve taken pets to the vet and grooming appointments and helped them recover after surgery. I have had both dogs and cats with special needs. I’ve worked with dogs with hip dysplasia, heartworm, cardiac issues, and Cushings disease. I’ve had cats with chronic kidney failure requiring I/V fluids administered daily, feline leukemia, epilepsy, diabetes, congestive heart failure, & chronic kidney failure. I worked blind dogs & deaf cats. Also have lots of experience with potty issues of all ages. I’m so proud to say that my husband, Mark, is an Iraqi War Veteran and I donate 5% of my Rover earnings to K9’s for Warriors, It’s a non-profit organization that provides service dogs for military personnel suffering from PTSD as well as many other traumatic injuries both physical and mental. We receive the Bark Box Superchewers and Bullybox, I use both In my doggy daycare, boarding & housesitting. I also have 30 years of experience with puppies, seniors dogs, kittens and older cats. I’ve worked with rescue dog and cats, dogs that have had difficult pasts and pets with anxiety issues. I have two 4-wheel drive vehicles so you can count on me even in bad weather! I have doggie seat belts and doggie booster seats in my cars so your pet will be properly restrained for safety in my vehicle. I also have a ramp for those larger pups who just can’t jump in and out of an SUV anymore. (I love to take the pups with me for any drive up service, I.e. grocery/pharmacy pickup) I know how stressful it can be, getting packed, stopping your mail & newspaper and everything involved with getting the puppers to their caretakers. I can pick up and return your dogs to you for an additional fee. (I only offer pick up/drop off service for clients that I’ve had previous bookings.) I even have my own saltwater fish tank if you have fish that need to be cared for while you’re away. I have a large, fenced back yard (that is sanitized once a week. Fence was completely replaced 9/22) that offers a smaller lot for smaller, older or physically capable pups and a larger lot for the high energy puppers, fenced patio complete with cushioned seating, hammock, a pergola that we use a shade canopy with in summer and fire pit that we use weekly. It has an awesome new misting fan (summer). I do not exclude any breed but only accept large, unaltered dogs up to 2 years old and smaller dogs, up to a year old (based on veterinarian recommendation and recent studies regarding spayed/neutered large breeds prior to puberty) and then based on case by case basis with behavioral effect. We use a Shark Ion robotic vacuum and an iRobot Braava Robot mop on all of our floors daily. We also have 2 Dynotrap mosquito traps to keep those buggers to a minimum for us and our pets in the summer months. If the mosquitoes seem worse than usual, I use an all natural spray to keep them away from all of us! For Boarding & Doggy Daycare, I have extra crates, dog beds, bowls, squeaky toys, ropes and Kongs but feel free to bring whatever you feel will make your pet most comfortable. We have security coded automatic locking doors to prevent someone letting our dogs out accidentally. I use these great rechargeable LED color light collars for when we go outside at night. The dogs seem to love them! We live less than a mile from Exit 100 North East / Rising Sun off of I95, half a mile from Cecil Community College. I am open to accept drop offs and pick ups between 7am-7pm as long as my schedule allows. I do not accept pick ups or drop offs later than 7pm or earlier than 7am. I don’t really do daily doggy daycare without an end. You can certainly request week to week and I’ll do everything I can to accommodate you. I occasionally have a dog walk or two at lunchtime so I crate all pups (my own and yours😊) when I leave the house for their safety unless my husband is home. I also crate for meals. You never know when resource guarding may start and I don’t want to chance a problem with any dogs. I do require a “Meet and Greet” prior to a stay to make sure I’m a good fit for your dog and vice versa. We do not have children, our dogs are our children. If you need to bring your kids with you for a meet & greet, pick up or drop off, please note, our home is doggy safe, not child safe. Please let me know ahead of time if you’re bringing your children with you & please supervise them while at my home.❤️ I do require break away collars with IID tags. If you don’t have one for your dog, I do have some here at the house that they can use. I have recently discontinued offering dog walks drop in services and housesitting for the time being. Thanks!

We had to find a sitter for our dog, Mary, last minute since we decided to make a spontaneous trip to Great Wolf Lodge over Thanksgiving. We were hoping to simply find someone to keep Mary safe overnight - but Tina did that and so much more!! She did crafts with the dogs and had special Thanksgiving themed activities planned. And Tina made sure to send us lots of pictures so we could see how well Mary was doing. I’m not sure who ended up having more fun - us at GWL or Mary at Tina’s! We will absolutely book with Tina again next time we’re in the area.

Tina has a great setup for the pups that visit her home. We feel safe leaving our dogs with her. You can tell she loves what she does. Her communication is fantastic. Our dogs made friends and came home happy.

Our dog sitter (family member) had to cancel just days before we were scheduled to be away overnight for a wedding. I had read reviews praising Rover and Tina in particular, so I reached out. TINA IS GREAT! Her communucation and flexibility with us was excellent. We also received updates and quick videos twice during this brief stay so we could see our furbaby was busy having fun. We were also impressed with the spacious backyard with varied terrain for the dogs to explore and enjoy (with plenty of water drink spots!). Inside has A/C and a comfortable home-away-from-home feel.

Tina was amazing with our boy. Tina sent updates and pictures during his stay and she even did a paw print art project. Tina was so easy to work with and made me feel very comfortable with leaving our Teddy Bear! We will absolutely book again.

Please let me know what to look out for, I.e. other dog aggression or reactivity, resource guarding, fear of being left alone, or loud noises (doorbells, vacuums, thunderstorms. I love to watch a good storm from the sunroom!) housebreaking issues. I prefer dogs/puppies that are housebroken but have dealt with all sorts of housebreaking issues through the years, from puppies to seniors with diapers. Just let me know ahead of time if there is an issue and how I can help. I love a harness for walks and require that dogs be crate trained. In addition, I only accept dogs that get along well with others. If you aren’t sure, we could always try a day of doggy daycare to see how they do. If I have a dog walk or drop in that I’ve already committed to during your pets stay, I crate them for the 40-50 minutes I might be out if the house. I’m flexible to working out a plan that will work for you and your furries.

A typical day

We usually have a few dogs here, either boarding or doggy daycare. We try to spend as much time outside, playing in the back yard, as possible. It’s great exercise and socialization for the pups. A tired dog is a good dog! I want your dog to be as happy and comfortable as they are with you in your home. Your pet will never know anything from me but comfort and love. I treat your pets how I would want my own treated and I have really high expectations when it comes to my furries. Our dogs have completed obedience training;; Our Alaskan Malamute, Lewes, has completed training for his AKC Good Citizenship certificate. For boarding and doggy daycare, we have leather furniture covered with blankets throughout the house. If a dog’s nails are super long, I hope you don’t mind a little trim if they’ll let me. Dogs must be leashed from your vehicle to my patio for safety. Please keep in mind, this is my home. I live in a residential area, on a street with no outlet. Watch your speed for my neighbors’ dogs and kids at play.
