Your pets are family!
Pet care experience
I provide a retreat-like atmosphere for your furry family members. Pets have always been a top priority throughout my life, from daily care to saving strays. I have spent a lot of time with animals, giving them the highest quality of life possible, from proper training to nutrition to a healthy environment and safe access to the outdoors, fresh air (screened in lanai & fenced in yard on easement), and filtered water in bowls that are frequently cleaned. I've cared for many dogs and have loved developing a relationship with them. I can tell when they need something, including a potty break or a walk or just some love and attention. I enjoy taking walks and playing with them in my back yard. I've also taken care of cats for over 35 years from stray newborns without a momma (needing milk and nutrients) to older cats. Family and friends have relied on me to care of their pets when they travel because they knew I would provide the same high quality of life and love that they provide. I enjoy getting to know all of the pets in my care!
Reviews
Tina L. Was amazing. This was my first experience with Rover and I am totally impressed. She treated my Coco with incredible kindness, patience and love. I received several updates daily as well as videos of him having fun. I couldn't have asked for any better care than she provided.
Tina took excellent care of my little puppy!! It was our first time leaving her with someone outside our family but honestly, I think Tina took care of of our puppy better than anyone we know! Thank you Tina!!!
Thank you, Tina, for taking the best care of our Bella! We appreciate the pictures you send us everyday also!
We can always depend on Tina to give our Bella the greatest care!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard that the smallest of dogs or cats cannot escape from. In addition, I always supervise pets in my care when outdoors. The back fence borders easement and beyond is a small lake, so the setting is very relaxing. Pets in my care are fed in different rooms to avoid any chance of food aggression. I have a large screened-in lanai that pets will have full roam of to bathe in the sun. Inside, they are free to roam until bedtime. They retire in their crate if they are crate trained at home. If a pet is crate trained but does not prefer the crate, they go to sleep in their bed if that's what they're used to doing at home. A crate is still required for short periods of time (trips to the store) until my furry friends feel safe being alone and are familiar with my home (usually repeat boarders).

Information Tina L. would like to know about your pet
Before booking, please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors that I need to be aware of and address as part of his/her individualized care. It would be good to know if they're on a special diet and information about crate training and sleeping habits. Thanks!
A typical day
I like to start the day with getting outside in the back yard, having breakfast, and taking a walk around the neighborhood, which is very stimulating for dogs. I also like to play with their favorite toy for exercise and interaction or just let them run like crazy around the yard. Sometimes the hose comes into play if they like to play with water! If they like to lay in the sun, I'll sit with them out on the lanai or in the grass and brush or pet them. Later in the day, I'll take them out for another walk around the neighborhood or walk on the trail if they like to walk. Closer to evening, I like to spend time with them exploring the yard some more before going to sleep.

Availability
I'm currently working part time from home, and the longest stretch of time that I am ever gone is 3 hours. If there is ever a circumstance where I will need to be gone longer, I will discuss this with you before booking. I can usually take boarders any day of the week.
