Canine Country Living

Pet care experience

I have years of experience caring for dogs and many other animals. We have a large home with an acre lot in a beautiful country setting in Dover Delaware. I work during the day as an auditor for the State of Delaware. I have an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from DelTech and am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Finance from Wilmington University. I have always loved animals, all types, but especially dogs. While in my care, Your dog will enjoy daily walks and treats as well as one on one quality time with family members. Dogs will have full access to the house just as our dogs Cowie and Harper enjoy. We will care and love your pet just as our own. Basic grooming care provided as well. Please allow me the opportunity to care for your dog while you enjoy a long weekend, during a planned vacation, in the event of an unforeseen emergency, or daily as needed. I look forward to caring for your dog in the near future and charge a reasonable daily rate of $25 for overnight boarding.

Our dogs had another great visit with Tina. We got pictures regularly, and they always looked comfy and happy. ❤️

Tina was great with Charle. I got regular updates and pictures of him having a wonderful time which was awesome. I felt like she was attentive to his needs and that he was in a safe and caring environment. I highly recommend Tina without reservation.

Tina is the probably the best pet sitter we've ever come across. Prior to the stay she was very quick with communication, and she put any worries we had about leaving our senior, visually impaired dog with a stranger at ease. While our dog was there she provided us regular updates and sent us pictures and videos throughout the stay. She really made our dog feel at home and like a member of her family. Our 12 year old dog seemed years younger while she was there. We give Tina our highest recommendation to anyone looking for a place for their dog, especially if their dog has any conditions that might require extra attention.

Tina and her family were ABSOLUTELY amazing. I have already booked our second vacay, even before the first one was completed. She took great care of our 4 legged family member. Walks, love and attention is very important for this family. She viewed Shelby has a member of her family which makes it much easier for us to leave her while away. Highly recommend! THANK YOU!

Information Tina L. would like to know about your pet

I am open to hosting small to medium size and dogs. Dogs must be neutered or spayed. Because I have children and a dog, I would not be able to host dogs that are food or toy aggressive. When hosting your dog I would ask that you bring the dogs: food, bowls, a few toys, bed, leash, and any other items you think your dog may need to make his/her stay enjoyable. Your dog must be up to date on shots and I would need contact information for you while your dog is being cared for.

A typical day

I believe that each dog is different and I adapt to the needs of the individual dog. In my home, your dog will be treated with love and care, like a member of our family. I believe in belly rubs and long walks. I send photo updates, texts, and video to my pet parents so they can feel comfortable and assured that their dog is doing well and enjoying their stay. I will do all I can to make your dogs time in my home enjoyable and my whole family works together to ensure that.
