We are the ultimate dog lovers!

Pet care experience

Greetings! We have been residents of Sonoma County since 1992 and in West Petaluma since 2002. Our home is a two bedroom country cottage with a fenced yard and plenty of room for a few smaller fury friends to visit! We have hired pet sitters over the years to care for our dog while we've been away, so we know the qualities we would look for in an outstanding, caring pet sitter. You can relax and feel completely confident in leaving your pet in our care and know that we will go the extra mile in making your pet feel loved and secure. Looking forward to meeting you and your dog, Tina, Mark, & Reuben (Chinese Crested) About this sitter: Lets go! We are active people so we take our dog on leash walks, hikes, and trips to the dog park on a daily basis! At home, we have a fenced yard with about 800 sf of play space. Dogs rule at our house so pets get the run of the house whenever and wherever they want! Our country cottage may be small but it is full of love, hugs, and fun for our furry friends! We look forward to meeting you and your dog, Tina, Mark, & Reuben

This was a first time sitter experience and it was more than I expected. Tina and Mark are excellent at watching your precious pets. My Nuni is a diva and very needy. I felt that they understood her needs and made sure she felt comfortable, welcomed and safe.

Panda had a wonderful time with Tina and her family while we were away! We couldn’t have asked for a more caring home for her. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation as we were confident our pup was in the best care possible. Tina sent us plenty of pics of Panda romping at the park (and even the beach!) to assure us that she was happy and comfortable.

My experience with Tina as a dog sitter and dog lover, is one full of trust and loving care that she has for my dogs. She treats ALL animals with respect and loving kindness. She believes dogs should be exposed to exercise daily, and socializing with other dogs whether it be in her home and yard, or at a dog park. When choosing a dog sitter, I require them to first have a safe environment to leave my animals. Another requirement is that they love animals in general--which tells me that they will respect my dogs as animals. Then I like for them to understand and provide what is best for the care, recreation and attention that my dogs require. In addition, a comfortable setting and play area is also a requirement. Tina provides this. That is why I chose her. My dogs love her, and get excited every time they see her. She has built a trusting relationship with my animals as well as myself.

Meet my pets We would love to take care of your wet nosed loved one because dogs rule at our house! We have a small fenced yard for playing and dogs are welcome to have the run of the house whenever and where ever they want. Our neutered dog enjoys other dogs and we have no cats or any other animals, just lots of doggie toys, cushy doggie beds & blankets, and much love to share! Our dog, Reuben, is a 7 year old Chinese Crested.

Information Tina J. would like to know about your pet

We prefer to care for one medium or two small dogs at a time, who possess good, socialized temperaments and know basic voice commands (come, stay, leave-it, etc). We would like to interview our clients and their pets ahead of time so we can best address their needs.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks We try to vary the walks on different paths. Twice daily leash walks will be on local paved, gravel, or dirt walking/hiking paths. Your dog's sleeping arrangement We are flexible about sleeping arrangements. Pets are permitted to sleep wherever comfortable inside the house or in whatever manner they are used to. Time I'll spend with your dog Each pet will be taken on a leash walk twice a day on a walking path along with a daily visit to the dog park (as permitted). While in-home, pets have a fenced yard with the run of the house and the company of our dog, Reuben (Chinese Crested Hairless) who is neutered and enjoys playing with other socialized dogs.

Why I love dog sitting Mark and Tina are both life long dog lovers, having grown up with various breeds, both pure bred and mix breeds. Mark is fond of Pit Bulls and French Bull Dogs and Tina's favorites are Chihuahuas and various Terrier Breeds and both have a special place in their hearts for Chinese Crested Hairless dogs and other hairless breeds. Mark and Tina feel that time spent with dogs is total pleasure and dogs are certainly our best friends! Over the years, Tina has been a volunteer in various programs, such as the SPCA and Animal Rescue facilities.
