Pet care experience
I have lived with animals in my home for most of my entire life. I've sat for my friends, neighbors and coworkers numerous times over the years, regularly walked their dogs and cared for their caged animals (snakes, lizards, spiders, fish to name a few). I love meeting new animals, it is always a delight when people let me pet their babies! Please be aware that if you ask me to watch your dogs, I will undoubtedly use a baby-esque voice to speak at least a little bit of the time to your dog(s). All dogs are puppies because they are the precious babies (regardless of age) who deserve all the love they can get! Please don't be surprised if I coo over the precious puppies!
Reviews
Tina did a wonderful job with my dogs and cat. I received pictures and updates everyday. The house was in good order when we came home and she even brought in the mail.
Tina was nothing short of FANTASTIC!!! We needed to travel out of town for a funeral and would be gone for 6 days. Not only did she agree to help us at the last minute, which included house sitting, but our pets were immediately in love with her. She's so wonderful with animals! When we returned home, our sweet fur babies had been well cared for, and our home was just as we'd left it. Our pets got proper play and exercise in our fenced-in yard, and she sent daily updates and photos of what they'd been up to that day. With all the anxiety and weariness that comes with a long trip, we had absolutely no worries about what was happening back home. Tina was instrumental in making a difficult and sad time so much easier for us. She did an outstanding job and we'd definitely ask for her help again without question.
Tina was a fantastic babysitter/caregiver for my two boys! She had to watch them for several months and she took such good care. They were always well fed/watered. Played with. Even I tried to new friends. She would send me regular photo updates and even sent me through the mail hard photos. Even now my now only one boy still reacts to her voice. I couldn’t ask for a better care giver!
Tina is the only person I trust with my dogs! My babies are a little crazy and I am also crazy about making sure the door is fully locked so I need to be sure someone can handle things so she's the only person I use!! She always sends pictures of he dogs before she leaves and a picture of them inside the house with the door closed to make me feel at ease. They adore her and get so excited every time she visits. She's watched my dogs overnight and taken them on walks for me for years. She also cares for my fish and reptiles when she's here. I cannot recommend her enough!!

It's not an insignificant thing to build trust with an animal who has had past traumas and have them find comfort in your presence. I have been blessed with the opportunity to do this on multiple occasions! I strive on being able to have an animal fall in love with me and trust that I will respect them and their desires/feelings. I know it can be scary letting a stranger have access to your home and your animals. I will respect any and all rules for a client's home and pets, if I am made aware of them. I can and will send you notifications each step of the way! I want you to feel safe in knowing that your babies are being cared for and secure in the knowledge of exactly what they are experiencing.
Information Tina J. would like to know about your pet
Please when asking for a home visit or walk, be prepared to answer the following questions or provide proof of the following: 1) Is your puppy up to date on all of their shots? 2) Are they currently on any medications that I might be required to give them? 3) How are their manners on walks? 4) Are there any behavioral things I need to be aware of? Such as: afraid of men, does not like cats, will actively run after wild animals, tends to pull excessively on leash, likes to say hello by jumping on someone, is puppy shy or easily excitable with new people, aggressive, high protection drive 5) Does your puppy wear a harness on a walk? If I am to do public access with any dog (such as a trip to any store or dog park), I will ask for proof of vaccination out of an abundance of caution. I would hate to have your baby exposed to something that could potentially be dangerous to their health!
A typical day
Each walk will be a new and exciting adventure! I will assist your puppy with exploring the world at large and smelling all of the new things. During home visits, puppy with receive lots of love and cuddles. We will play with their favorite toys, take regular potty breaks, and use lots of energy so that when it comes time for bed, puppy will be more than ready to sleep!
