My husband and I strive to provide the type of quality care for animals that we would expect ourselves! We are a professional, middle-aged couple. We are owned by three, beautiful, Newfoundland dogs, who are as sweet as can be. They are truly gentle giants. One of our favorite things to do is to hang out with our dogs. We have so enjoyed the many wonderful people and their pets we've met through sitting. With our own pets through the years we've gained a lot of experience with older dogs with illnesses and separation anxiety, as well as with young pups. We want you to know that we treat all of our guests as if they were our very own. Our guests receive constant love and attention, yet an ever-watchful eye. Our home is clean and safety is our number one priority. We are happy to send as many photos and videos as you wish. We look forward to helping you feel comfortable, rest easy, and enjoy your time away knowing your babies are in good hands. Our big ol' Newfies are so friendly with everyone and with all dogs! Our older two never jump and are so good about sensing other dog's needs and boundaries. They were raised by two, sweet, old basset hounds, 15 and 11 yrs, who taught them respect well. Our youngest is still learning her manners daily. She is very loving and mischievous. Many of our younger guests become BFFs with her right away! She is always the life of the party! Our home is cozy and super dog friendly. It's nestled on a quiet dead end street. We are excited to announce that we now have a one acre, fully-fenced backyard for tons of exercise and fun!! We also have a huge, gated, wrap-around deck that our dogs enjoy very much. When the weather's not the best we get play time in our large, fully finished basement. We also have a designated doggie bedroom for times when dogs may need a little space of their own to relax, or for separate feeding. By day, I manage a dental office and work Monday through Thursday. If your dog is with us Thursday nights through Sunday, we are home the majority of the time, minus small errands, to be with your pup. Week long stays and longer are always welcome, however, arrangements will have to be discussed due to my work schedule. I do come home at lunchtime every work day to tend to the dogs where they get outside potty breaks, playtime and treats :) Please note that overnight rates are for roughly a 24 hour period. If you need to extend pick up times, please discuss with me and we can adjust the rate if needed. I so look forward to meeting you and caring for your furry buddies!!
