Pet care experience
I was a vet tech for 6 yrs and have been petsitting for over 15 yrs. I love cats and dogs, and am well versed at giving meds and making sure the pets in my care are well taken care of and happy.

Tina took great care of our dogs Stitch and Dexter when we went away for a couple weeks. What was comforting was to know that Tina, who is has a lot of knowledge from working in the Veterinarian field, was completely capable of looking after our special needs dog Dexter. Dexter had a lot of medical issues, he was filled with high anxiety and had troubles walking sometimes. It broke my heart to have to leave him for an extended period of time. Tina cared for him as if he was her own dog and gave me updates about how he was doing through out the couple weeks. Dexter would give her two paws up if he were still here! Now, she helps check in on Stitch from time to time and he LOVES when she comes over! I highly recommend Tina to look after your furry friends! She's amazing with them!

A typical day
I'm a big fan of mental stimulation for pets, so you can bet I would be throwing toys and generally being silly with cats, and with dogs I go for what their specific interests are. That may be throwing the ball, running around in circles, smelling everything in sight, or playing with toys, wuffle mats, puzzles, etc.

Availability
I work remotely, which is really nice for petsitting. I'm able to give regular potty breaks and keep your pet company throughout the day. I also end my work day by 3pm, which is great for long afternoon walks with any dogs I may be watching.
